Has Cotto been Paid to take the Loss?

We all have heard or read somewhere about the rumors of Cotto making 30+ Million on his fight vs Canelo who will be making ~10 Million. Now, I have been talking with a few of my boxing buds and we are all speculating if Cotto has been paid to take the "L". I mean, suspect that Cotto's team may have taken De La Hoya to school during negotiation but the spread is way too much. I know FMJr. takes huge spreads vs his opponents but I'm not sure and I'm just speculating and want to know what you guys think. #WarCotto
