Holyfields strategy was FLAWLESS! Just amazing.
Tyson came out throwing bombs and Holyfield stood his ground, kept his composure and applied his strategy throughout the entire fight and had Tyson tired and frustrated.
I want to know who Tyson rated highest out of all the people he fought. Who he thought hit the hardest, who had the best chin, who was the best defensive fight, who hit him with the best punch.
I think Lennox rated Holyfield the best.
No. Holyfield was a tough, game, good all around fighter who could punch and take a punch. He was fearless and not intimidated by Tyson. Holyfield had a decent defense but hardly anything history making. Tyson hit him quite often but Holyfield took his punches and hit him back.
Yeah because headbutts are the best strategy....
Hopkins and Holyfield hit harder with their heads than with their fists.
Those headbutts were part of the strategy.
This was such and intriguing fight, because I saw it as Tysons first proper opponent. Of course Holyfield was past his best slightly, but these 2 were the best of their era and should have met earlier, but just happy to finally see them get it on.
Wanted to see how good Holyfields chin still was, and what would happen if somebody could take Tysons punchs and give some back.

why do people always keep bringing that up?
Those butts weren't on purpose.
Holyfield was unbelievable that night.
You're right his strategy was excellent.
And he even took some serious bombs at times and ate them for breakfast.
