All he does lately is talk about God, and say God bless, I mean okey. Sure you're a Christian I get it, but for the love of urm God, you don't have to thank God for every little thing in the world.
So yes, I'm an atheist so my views on religion are skeptical at best, but I do my best to respect people to believe in whatever it is they want to believe in (except for young earth creationists/and probably Scientology). However! You have to draw a line somewhere, I mean at what point do you stop crediting those that matter and assert that credit to God.
How many people have been healed by surgeons due to, let's say obesity. (There was actually a case I saw not too long ago about this) and the woman who was fair to say morbidly obese needed surgery otherwise, well you know.
She had plenty of help from people, moving and and the surgeons who operated on her.
I'm sure she did thank them, but she's also thanking God too?
. . . And I see Manny thanking God for everything he has, so many boxers do it, Floyd included. But surely the credit goes to the boxer who trains the hardest and has the desire to succeed. . . You can believe in God to an extent sure, but don't for a second give God more credit than it'd due, especially when in return you end up discrediting yourself.
I come from a religious Southern Black family. Several preachers/pastors are in my family both male and female. I went to church every Sunday until I was an adult. I respect anyones beliefs and right to worship whatever deity they wish to. Personally, I think its ALL bull***t.
:bounce::bounce:
You know the truth boss. Floyd fights guys at the right time or not at all. The "0" is a fraudulent statistic. Castillo's his daddy anyway.

Well everyone has they're reasons, I unliked him also but more because I looked up to him and respected him but the second he brought up his shoulder as an excuse I lost all respect for him. EVEN if its true or not, he SHOULD have saved us all money and told everyone before the fight to delay it, not Im out a hundred bucks and a dream fight that should have been good.
LOL man I don't know but I love super religious people like Pacquiao and that dude Yoel Romero, they piss people like OP off and it makes me laugh hard. I kept re-watching that post fight speech by UFC fighter Yoel Romero when he said USA what is wrong with you! after they legalized gay marriage, that had me laughing hard because I knew it was going to piss a lot of people off and the way he said it in his Cuban accent.
This is the reason I wanted Floyd to beat Manny because he kept blabbering on about this religious fundamentalist sh*t during the fight build-up.
If Manny had kept quiet about this fairytale sh*t about gods I would have been 50-50 on this fight but I wanted Floyd to disprove gods with a straight right hand and he did.
Thanks, Floyd. Fairy tales and imaginary friends are for children and the criminally insane, Manny.
To the end! I got on the war wagon fully when Pac was half dead in december 2012. I ain't jumping off this noble wagon now! Not ever! **** Floyd!
We all know it would have been a different fight if they fought in 2009, 2010. But it had to happen 6 years late. ****ing bullshlt. Floyd gets as much credit for the win over Pac as Leonard does for his over Hagler - little.

team pacquiao to the end baby

Guess what? Manny doesn't care. You're just one less REAL fan he has. Who wouldn't or doesn't like Manny Pacquiao? I should Red K you for wasting my time. Smh. Get lost with this "little" BS.
:lol1::lol1: LMAO
dude made a thread about cutting Pac loose on FB....:pat: wtf is this world becoming!! LMAO
I absolutely share this sentiment, though it is kind of a disappointing thing to acknowledge, ya know? It would be comforting if I could believe that we were all here for a reason, each destined to accomplish something or be part of something bigger than ourselves. But I feel like that's such an anthropocentric viewpoint - what are the odds that a few billion people on one planet occupying an almost insignificant portion of the universe, and during an almost insignificant portion of time that the universe has existed, have true value to the totality of existence? I personally believe that there may not be any true 'purpose' to life given to us, other than what we make of it.
Let me be clear I wasn't referring to the (anthropocentric) "meaning of life" as mocked by the likes Nietzsche and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Specifically, I was referring to the recent and still speculative proposal put forth by MIT professor Jeremy England which suggests that atoms, when driven by an external source of energy (such as the sun) and surrounded by a heat bath (such as the ocean or atmosphere), will rearrange themselves into living systems which we know are better at capturing energy and dissipating it as heat than are inanimate clumps of carbon atoms. "You start with a random clump of atoms, and if you shine light on it for long enough, it should not be so surprising that you get a plant," England said.
It's possible. I was saying rather that the sober men of science are a longer way from explaining how the universe sprang from nothing for no reason. I'm not attempting either to create an entrance for God in the gaps, so calm down atheists. It doesn't matter to me if God exists or not -- hoping for won't change it. I just find the answer sometimes proffered that it is "because something rather than nothing is the natural state of things" sounds to me like a cop-out or a way of saying because we don't know then an answer must not exist or be possible. I like to say we don't know what we don't know! And also the man who claims to know knows not, the man who claims not to know knows.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a really stupid book BTW. The meaning of life is 42. Get it?! It's supposed to be funny because it's a number.
I actually unliked his FB page for pretty much the same reason. I believe in God and it's great to thank him but stop polluting my FB wall with the Christian, born again rubbish (sorry born again Christians). Plus he just comes across as a hypocrite after his recent actions.

you should 'like' him again...he changed and is posting pics of hoes and cars...he's even giving away $100 to every 100th person that likes his pics of hoes
lmfao....green k for that :nutkick:
I'm not religious but being that bothered by "God bless" doesn't sound like atheism
Sounds more like obsessive compulsive disorder triggered by reading too much internet
That's a common phrase people have said for a thousand years... Get over it
He isn't going to get "God cooties" on you nor will you lose cool points with your hipster friends for reading the forbidden word
The funny part is I bet all those comments from Manny on his facebook aren't actually from him...a lot of celebrities, businesses, and companies have a hired dude or dudette making those comments.
