Arum: brandon rios will fight bradley next

Dan Ambrose: It looks like No.1 WBO Sadam Ali will have to wait a while before he gets his shot at the title because Top Rank promoter says he***8217;s going to have his fighter WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (32-1-1, 12 KOs) defend his title next against No.3 WBO Brandon Rios. The World Boxing Organization will have to bless this move before Arum can go ahead and pull the trigger on the fight. That's a good fight. Bradley can box well but his tendencies to brawl it out are too much to keep under control at times. Brandon might just be at his appropriate weight and he always comes to fight. The only thing that somewhat bothers me is the fact that Bradley got caught by Paulie Jr in his last fight, and was damn near asleep while on his feet... That certainly isn't a good sign, however Paulie Jr did catch him with a perfect shot.

Bradley has had a lot of rough fights. His instinct to trade with bangers could finally catch up to him against Rios. This is actually a very good fight. I agree with this

This is a big fight for SoCal fans. Personally I wish it were in the StubHub Center as both guys had FOTY type brawls there before. Anyway I'll be there wherever they're putting this fight. I'm a big fan of both fighters, picking Bradley to win but it depends on what kind of conditioning Rios shows up in.

Yeah that was a pretty good win for him. I'd say he's not quite top ten at WW on my book yet but the kid's got skills. I guess if it were me choosing which fights would lead the winner to being the mando I wouldn't think to pick Ali/Santana. But to be fair to the WBO, the WBA made the winner of Berto/Lopez the mando (lol). Well I mean they pretty much gifted bradley the title

I think Ali-Vargas is an excellent matchup. Ali shouldn't have been made the mandatory anyway, Santana not that big a win. He beat abregue easy

Well I don't blame Bum Bum for not taking the Brook fight if this is true. The laundry list of excuses wasn't necessary though. I was going to say cause Rios is a 1million+ fighter and bradley is a 1.75million+ fighter so the money might not be there. looks like my assumptions were right per your statement. Still a good fight, Rios stops Bradley. Check twitter link bro and Rios got 750k I think for his 3rd alvarado fight

This is NOT true. HBO said Top Rank asked for so much money for this fight that it's not possible for 2015, because they already used up most of their budget in the first six months. That's why HBO has only one show from now until October 24. I was going to say cause Rios is a 1million+ fighter and bradley is a 1.75million+ fighter so the money might not be there. looks like my assumptions were right per your statement. He beat Vargas 117-111 on my card. I think Rios will have his success but Bradley will win, IMO. man vargas vs rios better not happen vargas sucks
