According to the interviewer, Briggs has apparently offered Wilder $5 Million to fight (although all sources I've seen say $2 million, as Haye rightly says in this video).
When asked if he would fight Briggs for $5 million, Haye says it'd be his lowest purse for many years but he'd still consider it as a little fun fight for the fans..
I still believe Haye pulled out of the Fury fight because finances weren't expected to be what they initially hoped for, poor pre sales for instance. Those Harrison and Klitschko fights must have damaged his stock somewhat, and Fury and Chisora one their we're rumblings of poor sales by Hearn.
I'm sure Fury-Haye wouldve made a large amount of money and Chisora-Haye was boxnation, it cost £15 to order boxnation for just the week of the fight. I remember Warren saying it did big big numbers but not all of it was PPV some of them watching were regular boxnation subscribers.
bs
he fought derick chisora and audley harrison for 5 mill?
liar.
The Chisora fight was on Boxnation wasn't it?
Audley Harrison was Skysports Box Office, SOMEHOW!!
I can't imagine him getting paid above $5 million dollars for fighting Chisora on what wasn't a PPV fight.

Take the offer.
You're 35 years old, you haven't fought since July 2012, there's still a bitter taste surrounding your name after you put a soft performance in against Klitschko.
$2 Million for some activity, some publicity and a high % chance of a W, humble yourself and take it.
Remember when people believed David Price was the real deal? :lol1:
Oh but I'm sure "that's different doe, all aboard the next British hype train express toot toot Joshua train is inbound for derailment"
I don't know what Haye thinks. He is delusional af if he thinks that he will fight for more than a 5 million dollar pursue anytime soon. If he has so high standards he probably never fight again. I like his fighting style, he is a very good fighter but he needs to humble himself. He is 35 fucking years old, was inactive in the last 3 years, many people forgot about him so I think he should be the happiest man if he gets five million for a fight with Briggs but this fool says that "it's his lowest pursue doe... but maybe he would take it for fun.". I don't know what he thinks about himself, he is nowhere near to the star he used to be, fans moved on, he was inactive too long time.

I wouldn't be fussed about this fight. Haye hasn't been in the ring for years, be good to see where he's at, against a tuneup. Briggs wants a payday, Haye will always be a draw, and the leadup to this scrap might well be hilarious
Makes a lot of sense, other than the fact Haye doesn't seem to enjoy fighting
