Look at the size differences between some of the HW's pre this generation's Super Heavyweight era. Tyson, Fraizer & Roy Jones Jr the little man can get a win vs a bigger opponent if they possess the right skills.
That's true but Roy had speed and athleticism that was crazy for his size.
Tyson had that power and speed and combinations
Frazier was tough and strong
However does Kovalev have enough to handle Huck who is pretty damn solid?
I think Kovalev KO's him. I thought Sillakh, Hopkins and Pascal would all beat him, well not Pascal I thoutht it was 50-50, and he proved me wrong all 3 times. So I won't pick against him anymore. Ward-Kovalev would be stylistically competetive though:
Kovalev IS better than GGG.
He might be better h2h with his big size advantage. Better resume, sure. But p4p, on ability he gets knocked out. Maybe he'd get there first, doubt it.
Kovalev going at it in sparring CW Guillermo Jones
Man I really enjoyed that, thanks. It's a nice example of his advantages and disadvantages fighting a bigger guy, and Guillermo is huge. When he boxes he'll do well but he can't get trapped in the corner or on the ropes. That will spell disaster. When was that from?
He definitely could, a world class fighter at the higher weights can challenge and beat bigger men. Look at Roy's triumph years ago, adameks success at heavy weight, and even billy conn's success against the great joe Louis, even though he lost. Kovalev could hurt huck and is a very good boxer, he's faced better.
wtf??? who said he is ducking 200 or should even go there,i am just making a discussion..and yes i am at work now..why the hell you so negative?
Just came from Flordia for a week with my kids..so yea im living well

Don't pay attention to trolls, brother. Nice family. Respect.
But to answer your question, difficult but I think he can do it.
I feel like Usyk will soon be the kingpin at Cruiser and he's aiming for Huck's belt first.

NICE VIDEO MAN..GOOD SH1T..
Cool holiday pics mate :ANYWORD:
THANKS
Nice pics, bro :biggthump
Thanks man..
Huck is a pretty good fighter. Kovalev would lose.
Unless u have supreme skill or athletic as ****, size is too important from LHW to CW.
Have to agree. Even though I have a great deal of respect for Kovalev, it's a big jump and he doesn't seem to me to demonstrate that he could make that jump so seemlessly. If he were to move up and have a fight against a somewhat less solid opponent and look good in the process, I might have to change my mind.

I would have to say Yes... The only thing I would say would be difficult, is the fact Kovalev isn't very quick and he would with out a doubt be much slower and wouldn't carry the huge power over to Cruiserweight.
Am I the only one that reads posts in RJJ's voice if the user has RJJ in their avatar?
Like I just read this comment in his voice with his timing and emphasis and everything.
