CARL FRAMPTON will be brushed aside by Scott Quigg if they ever meet in a 'Battle of Britain' clash, according to Eddie Hearn.
Quigg made a stunning fifth defence of his WBA world super-bantamweight crown with a second round stoppage of Kiko Martinez at the Manchester Arena on Saturday.
But on the same night, Belfast bruiser Frampton had a nasty shock on the way to retaining his IBF title over Alejandro Gonzalez Jr in El Paso.

wba are a joke, theres guys with belts who arent realy champions and its devaluing what everyones achieved in the past. Crolla even perez arent world champs, can anyone say they can rewatch the fight and enjoy it, it was wack, just like watching flanagan hold constantly. its breaking the action too much and becoming like tennis i.e boring.
Regardless of the respective performances over the weekend, I still think Frampton can do more than Quigg and will ultimately be too much for him in a competitive fight if it ever happens.
I think that Mexican kid would give Quigg a real tough fight I really do.
Quigg has power, he has that retard strength going on but I honestly do not see him beating Frampton, he'd get jabbed senseless all night whilst that gormless expression failed to change.
Quite the opposite for me whilst most were left feeling Quigg had a much better chance than they originally thought it sealed it for me that Frampton beats him.
Quigg needs to fight in El Paso. Frampton was 6ft tall in Ireland, kind of shrunk in Texas. Quigg vs Alejandro in El Paso would make a statement. Just a thought.
A couple of month ago i said that if Frampton and Quigg met that as-long as Quigg got past the first 5/6 round with nicking a round or two that he would win the fight either on points or late stoppage, people really underestimate Quigg Stamina and Power, he can throw punches all night.
Alright Eddie, you're talk bollocks again.
I expect him to make another crap offer, blame it on Frampton again and go elsewhere. If it gets made, Frampton dominates him.
I'm not sure which way the fight goes - before saturday night I thought Frampton but seeing how he struggled with a tall 22-year-old and the height/reach advantage Quigg has, I'm not so sure.
One thing I am sure of though is that neither fighter will get "dominated".
