i keep seeing posts comparing the 2 "cherry picks" with eachother ....
IMO they are not comprable as Algeri would wipe the floor with this SHOT version of berto , who was never that good in the first place ...
you people make NO SENSE " he scared of KAHN" "ALGERIS A BUM"
ALGERI ARGUABLY JUST BEAT KAHN!!!!
GTFO
ALGERI WASHES BERTO AND I DONT EVEN LIKE ALGERI :boxing:
If the Chris Algieri that fought Khan shows up and the Andre Berto that fought Victor Ortiz shows up we could have fight of the year
Berto only showed up for a few rounds, and then went into clinch mode for the majority of the fight.
Algieri beats Berto all day. This guy Algieri did what very few people can do and that's to win 3 rounds against Khan. Khan would shut out Berto completely, like he did Malignaggi, Judah, Alexander, Collazo etc.. So for Algieri to win 3 rounds against Khan you know he's got to be very good indeed and he should handle Berto fairly easy..
That says more about how limited Khan is than about how good Algieri is.

This fight would not even be unreasonable. Not really a headliner but a solid matchup.
This^^^^^^^^^^
I think it's a really good fight.. Algieri's style will confuse Berto, and Berto will have a huge power advantage and potential for a one punch ko/kd
Everybody agrees Algieri wins. Berto might knock him down but he always gets up. With his new trainer he looked good against Khan. I thought he earned a draw. Berto will gas out as usual and the well conditioned Algieri will win all the late rounds for a wide ud in my opinion.
