There was a Jr's live interview just before the fight... Jr sounded so slow spoken and confused... Because of the time zone in my country, I fell to sleep and didn't watch the actual fight...
War Jr! #fightWardat172
Ward would make Chavez Jr. quit boxing :lol1:
mos def easy
I should've saw this coming that Garcia was there for a paycheck when I heard they was training at like 1am like chavez normally does with everyone else.
I always gave him and Ortiz the benefit of the doubt but at least that mental midget of ortiz is entertaining while it last. this dude (chavez jr) looked straight up like a bum.
I'm don't agree with this. Garcia looked embarrassed after and I don't think he even translated exactly what Jr said. Garcia was giving great advice in the corner but Chavez wasn't listening. It's his rep as a trainer if his fighters look like *****.

No sane trainer would ditch this guy. A lazy slob who according to Roach didn't show up 90% of the time paying you fat cash because he has a huge name. Easy money.
mos def easy money.
I actually thought Garcia would had at least change him up a tiny bit.. but nope
and the sad part is he gonna say that he didn't have a full camp with him or some other bs

man **** jr.
I don't even like roach but the dude actually a good coach since chavez jr only ever looked remotely decent with him. he was a bit more active, actually threw better punches and look better under roach.
now after the 5th round chavez jr be looking like he is lost in that ring not knowing what the **** to do. smh
I'm officially done with this dude... and Garcia should be too..
I always gave him the benefit of the doubt but no more.

Have to agree. Close fight against a much smaller C-level fighter. Worse, he demonstrated nothing technically, and Garcia looked rightfully embarrassed.
Even the commentators were pointing out his lack of technique and lack of hunger to take the fight over. He's been given SO many opportunities and now it's impossible to miss how bad he is. This is why everyone wants to fight him, because he's the easiest mark in Boxing. Ward/Froch/GGG and so many others are looking at him like vultures, ready to scavenge whatever is left of his sorry excuse of a career. I wish everyone would just let him disappear.

I never want to hear anyone defend this dude again. He's the definition of GARBAGE. People keep saying he has talent and all he needs to do is get serious....stop lying to yourselves.
I don't see anyone defending him, there are a few renegade posters(mostly Mexicans) that still try to rep him, but most Mexican posters disliked him ever since the Martinez fight(including myself). He should have stomped Reyes, and all that whining was very off-putting.

I got more enjoyment out of the ShoBox card last night than this card tonight. This is the last time I sit through a Chavez fight.
Phuking bum.....I'm 172 right now....give me two weeks and I'd rip this punk's liver to next month. That's all I'd throw, left to the liver after left to the liver....as soon as that right drops, it's 1-2 to the face all night long. When the gloves come back up, left goes back to the liver and I'd tie him up at every opportunity. Forget this cheater.....I'll make you piss blood fool.
