There is no way Herrera won this fight, Lundy was hitting him 4 to 1!!
Herrera now wants Lucas Matthyesse which is not a good fight for him at all.
Another set up fight just ass the Collazo one :banghead:
lundy didnt get robbed he got out boxed. Lundy missed alot and everytime herrera would land something to the body lundy froze up and he was even affected by those body shots that he slowed down.
Lundy was swinging at the air all night, idk what the punch stats were but I don't pay much attention to them much anyway but the % must've been low for Lundy, he has short arms for the style he has. Lundy was only landing 1 flashy shot at a time & only let his hands go on the clinch. Herrera was coming on regardless with his 1-2. With that said I'm a Herrera fan but I don't like to see a fighter lose that way no matter who their facing, I had it 2-2 & the 5th shouldn't have been scored but that's boxing. If this were in Philly it probably would have went the other way but its boxing, it shouldn't surprise anyone.
Had it 2-2 after 4 and the 5th ??? Lundy acts like he wooped his azz, it was head butts and all that talking after I'm glad he lost. Lucas beats his dick and Herrera at the same time and then hank in the next round!
I think Matthysse would KO either Herrera or Bundy without much trouble. He is at least one grade above them and at the top level. He might be the best 140 pounder in the world.
We must have been watching different Lundy-Herrera fights because in the one I watched Lundy won the first two rounds and lost the next two rounds and lost the part of the fifth round that was fought. It looked like Herrera had him figured out and was going to win the rest of the rounds if not for the cut. I found Lundy to be a really annoying guy. He is a sloppy dirty mauling clinching fighter. He is also a conceited bragger and a sore loser. He was so sure he won until they said he lost. Good. Herrera got a break and a well deserved win for a change. If there is a rematch I'll bet some money on Herrera. He is the better fighter.
I had the first 4 rounds scored 2-2, I really don't know how to score the 5th. I guess I would score it 10-10 if I'm a judge and making it a draw. I think 4 rounds is just too little for a fight to be official. They should change the rule on that to at least 6. Then you at least have some idea of who the better fighter is.
