i think people have a different definition of fixed did collazo come in knowing he was to quit during round X with mafia guys on walkie talkies under the ring and the fighters winking at each other? no was he brought in just to be an opponent for a showcase fighter and aware that taking tons of damage and going for a hail mary KO would accomplish nothing but burn some financial bridges late in his career? and would that make him more likely to simply give up like he did? i think so

cant tell ya. All i know is great fighters fight through things like that. Are you talking about how Thurman (who may end up being great) fought through and overcame a shot to the liver the likes of which we've seen stop plenty of guys? Or are you saying that Collazo (who is for sure not a great fighter) should have not quit when he realized he was about to suffer a monumental beat down?

You could see the stoppage coming a mile away. Collazo was taking a beating at the end and his face was a mess. Did he expose flaws in Thurman? Yeah. He also took a lot of punishment himself and finally caved. I was at the fight and that's what I thought I saw. Keith didn't look as dominant as usual, but the tides were turning at the end. The only reason you could give Collazo the 5th was due to the body shot hurting Keith. I thought Keith came out really strong in the 5th even. 6th round Keith caught his breath a bit and still put some hands on Collazo. 7th round was very decisive. It felt as if Keith started to turn it on at the beginning of the 5th, got caught with the body shot, and had to readjust for a round before coming on again.
