What do you think guys? isn't it fishy Collazo suddenly quit whereas he was going good.
Who knows Haymon offered money to Collazo after Thurman was hurt.
Thurman kept saving his ribs with his elbow after he was hurt.
Haymon scratched his nose 2 times than Collazo knew he had to give up. THAT was the signal....
:lol1: No doubt! I caught that chit from the ref-cam, mane!
i think people have a different definition of fixed
did collazo come in knowing he was to quit during round X with mafia guys on walkie talkies under the ring and the fighters winking at each other? no
was he brought in just to be an opponent for a showcase fighter and aware that taking tons of damage and going for a hail mary KO would accomplish nothing but burn some financial bridges late in his career? and would that make him more likely to simply give up like he did? i think so
What's all this "Collazo had momentum" talk? He lost the sixth and took a beating in the seventh. I was thinking the fight was going to get stopped in another round or two anyway.
Its what you say when someone lost every single round but you dont like that the fight was stopped early. Remember Ortiz-Mayweather? Ortiz headbutts mayweather, twice, out of frustration because he cant land ****. But he was "coming on" or "gaining momentum"
Same thing. Collazo was coming on.
So are people suggesting that collazo was offered money right there in that ring to dive? Lol have heard it all now thanks al. I know boxing has a lot of politics but NSB conspiracy theorist makes me laugh.
You know this is boxing we are talking about right, probably the most corrupt sport in the world, let's not pretend this is outside the realm of possibility.

Hell yeah it was...called it before the fight.

cant tell ya. All i know is great fighters fight through things like that.
Are you talking about how Thurman (who may end up being great) fought through and overcame a shot to the liver the likes of which we've seen stop plenty of guys?
Or are you saying that Collazo (who is for sure not a great fighter) should have not quit when he realized he was about to suffer a monumental beat down?
LMFAO at Fixed, "Hey Collazo Get Cut And Then Quit"? How does that even make sense, I thought Thurman recovered well after a excellent body shot but people are talking like Thurman was in serious trouble and out on his feet and Collazo just quit

What's fishy is Collazo getting a title fight I remember back in the day fighters ranked 1,2, or 3 would get a title fight. Today Al Haymon champs make title defenses against guys unranked or coming off knock out losses
You could see the stoppage coming a mile away. Collazo was taking a beating at the end and his face was a mess. Did he expose flaws in Thurman? Yeah. He also took a lot of punishment himself and finally caved.
I was at the fight and that's what I thought I saw.
Keith didn't look as dominant as usual, but the tides were turning at the end. The only reason you could give Collazo the 5th was due to the body shot hurting Keith. I thought Keith came out really strong in the 5th even. 6th round Keith caught his breath a bit and still put some hands on Collazo. 7th round was very decisive.
It felt as if Keith started to turn it on at the beginning of the 5th, got caught with the body shot, and had to readjust for a round before coming on again.
Is it possible Haymon was thinking the same " if another body shot ..."
beacuse he already invested too much on Thurman.
Collazo wasn't seriously hurt than why he quit?
He has both fighters. Add that to the conspiracy.
Of course "if." But the reality was that Collazo had lost the last two rounds and he took some big shots in the seventh.
I want to ask is it possible Haymon was thinking the same " if another body shot ..."

Refreshing when people actually know what they're watching and other than the body shot, didn't see what Collazo did that really troubled Thurman. So he continuously walked forward, my question is....and?

"If collazo had hit another body shot right on the same place what would have happend?" Haymon might have been thinking this.
Its pity fight was ended in a fishy style.

That's what I'm thinking lol. Keith wasn't at his best but he still completely dominated...
