casuals are going to be a bit gunshy after manny - floyd. can you imagine if that was the only boxing match you watched all year, and you had to pay $100 to see it? would you buy another fight in the fall? i doubt it. i'll be pleasantly surprised if this one breaks 1 million buys. shocked would be the word i'd use. pleasantly shocked.

This fight is in a bad slot, Floyd-Berto in September, GGG-Lemuiex in October and this fight in November, I don't think it passes 700K, fight is great, but 2 PPV's before it, it's gonna be tough.

More casuals recognize Cotto then Canelo too. I was in a biker bar with a friend I was visiting P.A. and I was shocked talking to this guy and he didn't now sh1t about boxing but Cotto was 1 of like 4 fighters he said he new. I thnk it's because Cotto's been around longer but also because he speaks english.

I'm kinda surprised a lot of people don't see it doing a mil. Maybe I'm overestimating the demand for this.

800k. A good undercard should be a top priority as well. They need to absolutely load the undercard with young solid names to create new stars, because boxing will have no stars after Cotto and Canelo retire.
