No bias here, both fighters are a-side fighters but I can see Cotto demanding it be held MSG or the Barclays and Canelo saying, "No, MGM Grand or no fight!" Who would cave in? Do you think it's going to end up like this?
99% of these big fights end up in Vegas
Remember how Pacquaio/Floyd was supposed to sell out football stadiums and all that crap? End of the day they just played it safe
They should just swallow their egos and go with Vegas, but of course they'll play games instead
Not many.
This is a far too big fight for fall just because the venue. They both want the fight, both of their promoters want it, they are on the same cable network, much-much money in the fight. --> It won't be held up by the choice of venue.
That ust wouldn't make sense at all.
Cotto suggested Vegas and its neutral grounds so I say no.. Canelo wont be that much of a diva and let the venue hold the fight up. Hes just going to fight for it in Texas the same way Cotto will try to fight for it to be in NY.
This fight can't be in Texas or NYC, Vegas will probably be a Canelo crowd, so I say make it happen in Chicago in the United Center. Yes I agree this is what's holding up this fight.

Wtf are you talking about??? Cotto already said New York or Las Vegas in fine. Only said No to it being in Texas.
I was thinking about this the other day and I think PPV split will be even worse. 2 companies basically starting over trying to get the most money for their guy, I see this holding the fight up, I can see both guys agreeing to Vegas rather easily, but they will try to get the fight in their neck of the woods.
