IMO Bradley has one of the best chin's in boxing right now. Even though Vargas only has 9 ko's, that shot he landed was perfect and would have folded most WW.
I don't understand why people are bigging up Bradley's chin for getting put on ice skates by a pillow-fisted Vargas.
I mean Tim has a good chin, but almost getting killed by a Malignaggi level puncher isn't something to be proud of
i dont understand why it matter what happened in previous fights just look at the punch it was a very good power shot perfectly placed pillow puncher my ass
Bradley gets rocked to hit boots by the likes of Jessie Vargas because he's wild and sloppy and leaves his chin up in the air when he lunges in with punches from way out of range.
For everybody saying "well if that were so and so, he woulda been done." Get a grip. You really think he would have the same game plan against a big puncher? Even still, that was the quintessential "perfect punch". Any WW BUT Tim woulda been picking themselves up off the floor.
horrible comment he was bludgeoned by Provo easily hit with rights and left hooks
Bradley conditioning is what gives him the ability to recover from hard shots, even though he is still on his feet he is hurt very bad, but hus body is so stròng he doesn't go down easy, but he is out on his feet and his brain is hurt. Marquez has insane recovery, i have never seen him hurt bad, he gets dropped hard but he recovers in an instant.
Huh? Bradley has a solid chin?? He gets wobbled though. I thought a granite chin is somebody who takes hard solid shots and doesn't lose their legs like Danny Garcia and Brandon rios.
It's hard to get in the trenches like Bradley does without getting wild sometimes. Especially when he doesn't have a traditional inside game. He overwhelms opponents with a little bit of everything, speed, muscle, boxing, workrate, heart.
He's an all or nothing guy, Bradley. That's why he's done so well without being technically exceptional in any single department.
Bradley is pretty versatile, it is just painful to watch him throw a bunch of wide shots from too far away.
That said Bradley gets the most out of his talents, not a lot of guys can say that.

The scar tissue under Tim's eyes is what really bothers me. He looked a mess after the fight and Vargas really didn't do much. I'm worried his face won't hold up against a better fighter.
His punch resistance has declined as well but Vargas landed a really good shot. I would worry that the bigger punchers at 147 can knock him out now. Tim's main issue though is being wreckless and throwing wide haymakers. He needs to fight a more disciplined fight for the whole fight. Tim is not shot but he has declined.
Most of the compelling matchups for Bradley are with Haymon imo. I would love to see him fight Thurman, Maidana and Brook.
Well he is wild and sloppy so when a guy is wide open bad things are going to happen when a professional prize fighter lands big. He has a pretty good chin or he would totally suck as a fighter because he does get tagged a good amount.

Nothing hurts more then getting hit while throwing a punch. Bradley literally never saw that right hand. I got flashbacks of Provo seeing that punch land.
So is Thurman a 154 fighter? The main point is Vargas is feather fisted, not very good and Bradley reacted badly to that shot, which is not a good sign
How about using your eyes as opposed to relying on records.
Vargas is obviously not a destructive puncher but to say he is feather fisted is stupid when he clearly cracked Bradley with a hard shot.
Looking at the punch it is clear to see that Bradley was stunned by a hard and well placed punched. If Bradley was rocked by a pawing shot that just grazed his chin, you would have a point.
Legs kept him up there. LEGS saved him against Provodnikov also. And LEGS funkychickened him away from Pacquiao. Those legs refused to buckle even though his brains were shot!
