They need to ban these old senile referees and judges. It is something I've mentioned for years. Same with the NBA and other sports involving young ATHLETES in the PRIME of their lives (physically and mentally) BEING TRACKED AND REFEREED by out of their prime old men who can't keep up physically and whose senses and mental capabilities have faded and declined.
IMO, the maximum age limit to be a referee should be 40 years of age, TOPS. And after 35, you take an annual physical, mental and sensory test to determine how sharp they are.
Judges could judge up to 50.
I was rooting for Bradley, and I hate Vargas, but these grandpas ruin the agility and vitality of sports.
EDIT: BTW, men after 40-50 are still more than productive and capable. However, I'm referring to physically demanding tasks. We can all recognize that at 40 most men know they are not all there. Aches, things don't respond how they used to, etc.
67 seems a little too old for this gig.
Bradley only won the Provodnikov fight because of this very same ref, had he not called one of the clearest knockdowns in history a 'slip', the judges scorecards rule that fight a draw.
Here he strikes again. Bradley was in control against an average opponent with no power until the final 15 seconds, Bradley gets rocked and is all over the place....ref jumps in and stops the fight 10 seconds early.
You can't make fight changing mistakes over and over.
He stopped the fight early because his depends underwear were beginning to leak and had to change them in a hurry.

Poor old man, It was a clear win for Bradley. Vargas waited way too long and looked like **** in there. I wish Bradley had just a little more pop in his punch, he always brings it regardless. It only gives Vargas a reason to think he had a shot to win.
What a weird fight. I thought Vargas looked lethargic. Tim gets caught in the last 10 secs and the ref stopped the fight too early!
Don't forget Jim Lampley's tearful emotional breakdown.
On a sidenote...it appears you have raised your postcount significantly in this thread alone.
I don't want to see a rematch. Tim has only a few good fights left in him warrior or not. Vargas backed all the way out of the arena into the parking lot.
Now we get controversy instead of a clean ending. The fight did not live up to the hype. Tim for all his muscles does not have KO power. Vargas looked gassed for half the fight.
