CALLUM SMITH has always been one step ahead in boxing.
When he first walked into a gym, he already had thrown plenty of punches.
Smith, 25, is the youngest of four boxing brothers with Paul, Stephen and Liam all showing him the way.
The four used to trade punches at home in their living room in Liverpool much to the annoyance of mum Margaret.

For once I agree with you. I'm not sold on Callum Smith yet at all. Think his power is overrated as fuk. Not that Rocky Fielding is any good but I'd like to see him clean up domestically before he talks about fighting Groves for a world title.
I think his power was overrated. Only ever here Sky commentators talking about it nowadays though (along with Joshua = next Lewis, Campbell = next De la Hoya etc). Hes a solid puncher when he lands clean, unfortunately when hes stepped up hes struggled doing that. His size, height, reach and decent boxing ability are whats going to cause opponents problems as he moves up imo.
Vera could upset Fielding couldn't he?
who thinks it is worth a punt?
I like Calum he is behemoth of Super Middle. I would be surprised if he couldn't compete at world level.
Rebrasse is a good test because he is a pretty big man himself.
I think Vera is shot unfortunately but otherwise would have looked at it. If he brings it I can see him causing the upset

If both Callum Smith & Rocky Fielding are successful in there contests this weekend, then a match up between the two is a must!
