To be fair to Ellerbe, he's a manager, not a promoter. Actually if I'm not mistaken, he's Floyd's advisor and Haymon is Floyd's manager.

It's not his promoting skills it's the fact he get in fighters faces as if he was a fighter that annoys me. The rosado/JLove fight was an embarrassment. That was bad, but recently he's been better. I've grown to like him a bit more...he rides Floyd less than a typical fl0mo off nsb, but he's being paid for it so I really can't knock his hustle....it's only uber gay when you spend half your day doing so just to get paid a total sum of....drumroll.....0 dollars (you know who you are, all 112 of you still got your O). Leonard is trying, and even trying to stay neutral, and he'll get better with time.

That title belongs to 50 Cent whose fighters just rotted...or the promotional entity that Mike Tyson was frontman for that folded after one show. That's just in the last couple years. The IronMike Promotions actually had a few decent shows and had some very good talent for a smaller promotional company. I think what actually happened is that Haymon bought their fighters.

Didn't Broner-Porter do 3.3 million views? Or was it 3.7 million? I'm pretty sure the entire Mayweather Promotions event was a huge success. Ellerbe did just fine. They made maybe 100k from Haymon's fee...which I guess is good because it means they didn't lose money, but the turnout was poor, and the ratings were less than expected.
