Ricky Hatton said :"I think Amir stands a good chance of getting Floyd now.
I don’t think Amir would have scared Mayweather with his last performance and that might help him get the fight.
Amir was always on the move against Devon Alexander and Luis Collazo in his two fights before Algieri – and that might have put Floyd off.
Styles make fights and Floyd really loves fighting big punchers because he can sit back on the ropes, roll his shoulders and slip the punches.
But someone who might trouble him is someone who can match him for speed, someone like Amir.
Amir against Alexander and Collazo might have put Floyd off but in Amir’s last fight I don’t think he looked quite as good and that may have helped his chances of getting Floyd.
I hope Amir gets it. He deserves it. He’s taken a slagging and been KO’d a couple times but he always comes back and he’s never shy of a challenge. He deserves to fight Mayweather".

This isnt news, everyone should know by now its going to be khan next.
Kell Brook brings more British money to the pot than Amir Khan does, regardless of the spin (Sky Sports can put the fight on Box Office, sell it for 20gbp, present a London/Vegas double header, and bring in the equivalent of $30m, leaving $20m to the promoters; Box Nation, Khan's UK backer, likely won't even put up $10m for the fight), and Mayweather-Brook is the far better actual fight (Giving ESPN and the US media outlets something to really chew and churn on in hyping up the fight, leading to a bigger US PPV number).
Picking Khan at this point would ensure an utter PPV flop (think Mayweather-Guerrero number; more people would no Khan's name, but a ton of people will also not tune in for it being a **** fight).
