he would have not only been given the decision, but many here would be posting how it was a masterclass boxing lesson, he whooped Porter.
Whats even worse is the ref probably wouldnt have even allowed Porter to crowd Floyd or work inside ala Cortez/Hatton.
Am I wrong?
I was think the same . He was out landed by Castillo by over 100 punches and still got the decision he lost the first 6 rounds to Madaina and I'm sure he lost at least 2 of the remaining 6 and still got the decision
outlanded according to what?? compubox??? so compubox is relevant again? he outlanded Maidana according to compubox so which is it?
Man you are my bro but what in the **** are you talking about? Floyd Maidana 1 was 8-4 maybe even 9-3 if you watch it without bias. Draw at best smh.
I had Maidana up 4-2 after six. You're telling me Maidana didn't win 2 of the last six rounds at least ?
Floyd did not win 4 rounds of the first 6 yet that is what 2 judges gave Floyd. Its so corrupt that one of the 2 judges also got the nod to judge the 2nd fight. Maidana could have fought like the first 6 rounds for the entire 12 rounds and 2 judges would still have given Floyd, at least, double the credit than Maidana. :dunno:
Awwwwwww. QQ some more.

Yeah I agree op. Refs get paid off by floyd. Last night weeks was as well. He saved himself after he had no choice in rd 11.
He waited for broner to fight back so he didnt have to look biased.but the fix was in but broner just sucked. If I was thurman id leave pbc

Good point. Replace Floyd with Broner and we have a UD in the favor of Floyd. Exactly what happened in the Maidana one fight. IMO. The score cards had Floyd winning 116-112, 115-111 in Maidana 1. :lol1: It was a draw at best.

Yes. You are wrong.
Does any rational human being believe this crock of **** thread?
For 1 Floyd fights NOTHING like Broner. He would/will land the much cleaner shots on Porter, he will make Porter miss and counter him, he will be much more active than Broner was and he won't allow himself to be outworked. The **** are you talking about?
Floyd isn't even a clincher like that, beside the Chino fight who what other fight looked anything like Broner? Floyd had around 70 clinches in the Chino fight, Alexander had 117, and i think Broner was even way ahead of Alexander.
We know it would not have been exactly the same. Broner at least knocked down Porter and Porter didn't get a point deducted for retaliating on a couple of occasions.
Just look at the Maidana fight and yes the Manny fight as examples. Everyone including the commentators were calling out the ref for not giving Floyd strong warnings to deduct a point. Maidana then elbowed Floyd and gets deducted a point with no strong warnings! Even though Floyd had done so (elbowed) during the fight.
Sure, Broner was horrible but if Floyd didn't look good, Dave Moretti, for example, would have given Floyd the win and you Floyd fans would have said that Porter missed a lot because Compubox said so.
If you do not believe that Floyd would have had a better scorecard, remember that Maidana was losing on the score cards after 6 rounds of the fight where Maidana clearly did his best work. Floyd picked up 4 of those rounds. One of those being, Dave Moretti!
