Ward really showed Paul Smith tonight!
I mean, he took 9 rounds to do what a green George Groves did in 2. That's impressive. He also managed to bore his opponent into submission - Smith, as throughout most of the build-up to this fight, looked disinterested, content with slowly plodding about the ring, admiring his new-found rolls, throwing an occasional jab or slow right.
So, 9 rounds to stop a slow moving punchbag - that's a statement, that! Ward really delivered.
I bet GGG and Kovalev are running scared!

Dude was out of the ring for 19 months, of course he isn't at his best.
So Groves did Smith in 2 rounds? Okay then, so let's put Groves in the ring with Ward and see what he's made of. ;)

The light heavy weight division was so impressed, every fighter in it, moved up.
