Floyd Mayweather Says Adrien Broner and Errol Spence are the Future of Boxing.

Losing 1 fight does not mean you can be great Don't you mean that 1 loss doesn't ruin your career.

Spence looks decent but I'm not that impressed. Floyd rates him highly because he got the better of him in sparring. Same thing with J'Leon Love. But sparring is completely different. Spence's feet seem really slow to me. Maybe he is fighting down to his opposition though.

I remember when Mayweather said what a bright future Chad Dawson had and how he would take over as the best when Mayweather retired. It didn't quite turn out that way.

well atleast broner is matched up decently or fairly well in even matches,and imo he is must watch tv,spence on the other hand is basically still being fed elotero vendors and illegal bacon wrapped hot dog specialists,theres no comparisson think about this for a second,broner is not even a real WW yet hes been matched with more better WWs than Spence himself who is the definishon of a WW, Yeah, I'll say this much for Broner, he's not scared, at all. Why does the future of boxing have to be exclusively American black boxers? Don't GGG, Kovalev, Lomo and Canelo have a bright future and an important role in the future of boxing? Broner is not the best 140-147 pounder in the world and Wilder is not the best heavyweight in the world in my opinion. Hard to know how long those guys will be around. I don't think Loma will ever be a major attraction but Canelo can be the future, in terms of marketing at least. Nothing to suggest Broner, Wilder and Spence will be, and that's just being honest. I think Thurman looks better at this stage albeit he needs to land a big name opponent.

Spence is a nice prospect. However in Broner's case I'm almost sure that Mayweather only mentioned Broner because he is his friend and he doesn't want to hurt his feeling with not mentioning him. Broner isn't look like somebody who will take over anything. For me at least. Too little commitment, flat foots, overconfident mimic of Floyd's style.

Boxrec may not be the last word in rating fights but they are neutral and they rank fighters from 1 to 1000. Right now Spence is ranked 34th and the best fighter he beat is ranked 78th so it's way early to declare him the future of boxing. Spence hasn't done sh*t. He may be great so let him fight a top 10 guy and prove it.

If he beats a Khan, Garcia or Matthysse type of fighter he will be a lot closer.

What would he know? He apparently doesn't like boxing or watch much of it anymore according to the man himself.

Spence is already an ATG sparring partner, not long now until hes the GOAT.

Spence I think will be one of the Future Stars Of Boxing...Broner on the other hand not sure yet. The Skills have to catch up to the Persona. If the skills catches up to the rest of him then yeah absolutely Broner can be a Superstar because he is not afraid to make a fool of himself
