AB Got this. Porter is f**ked.
Are you talking about the same porter who ran through paulie? Yea, the same paulie that went 12 with ab and was actually having moments in that fight??? Gtfoh
I don't think Porter looked so bad here, he looked kinda sloppy but that's how he's always looked, but I thought the sparring was kinda even. Also sparring doesn't always correspond to how the real fight will play out, too many variables come into play plus Broner was fighting as a southpaw.
Adrien getting hit while trying to use the shoulder roll looks funny to me every time.
Broner was still at lightweight here obviously, while Porter was closer to 154. Its an easy pickIn sparring, the heavier fighter doesn't get to use his size as much, leaning in and making it a grueling fight and the pace is slower and those thick gloves minimize power. So many variables. But there is a reason why Broner demanded the fight at 144 though I don't think it would have hindered Broner if he had kept it at 147 because it is an even fight overall. Either guy could win, slight edge to Porter but he could get caught often coming straight in. If the fight is inside most of the time, he wins. If Broner can counter and keep it ring center, he wins.
Like Amateur fights, sparring is not a bankable portent of things to come in the actual fight. Too many variables come fight night. Broner vs Porter is a pickem fight the way I see it.

Porter has always been weak to me. No real power. Bad footwork. I hate swarmers with no power. But he has a chin so he'll always go 12.
Boxers like Porter put me to sleep. I hope AB finds a way to spark him before the 12th
