Which means Rodriguez either didn't do his homework or simply lacks the skill to apply pressure, or there's not much left in his tank in the first place. Why would GGG want to fight Lara. Lara is the biggest high risk low reward guy in boxing. He brings in very little money and he is a highly skilled fighter and a runner when he fights a big puncher. GGG would KO him and it would do nothing for his goal of dominating the middleweights since Lara has no ranking at middleweight. Sure as hell GGG haters would give him zero credit if he beat Lara and say he just picked on a little guy. I do hope the fight happens because I like to see the best fight the best and Lara and GGG are two of the best fighters in the world.

Disagree, imo 90%+ of the posters would expect GGG to stop him. Dont believe me, make a poll. Its a mismatch. Laras manager said hes contacting Loeffler after Rodriguez, what happened? Things got a bit too real, like with Chavez and Froch when it came time to sign the contract? Come on now, you think people here are honest in the polls??? So nobody objects to this fight getting made, except one or two. That's good. Team GGG better make a quick decision before Lara changes his mind. This is an entertaining fight, imagine the running and chasing, then catching the runner. It will be hilarious. :D Make it happen, please!

Of course his next opponent wont be as credible as Lara. Hasnt his resume proven that. Willie monroe for example is similair to lara but less skilled. At least Monroe was ranked at middleweight. #2 with the WBA in fact. What rank is Lara again? I do wish GGG fought Lara instead Monroe but you've got to also look at it from the otherside.

I am fine taking a wait and see approach but yea given the rather small pond he is confined to (partly by choice) Lara would be pretty high up the credibility pecking order.
