I used to think a victory of Vladimir Klitsckho in Germany was damn near impossible to achieve. But some of these Pacquiao fans have convinced beating Floyd in Vegas is actually the more difficult task. So I'm asking Boxingscene, what is the more difficult obstacle to overcome for a fighter:A win over Klitsckho in Germany or Mayweather in Vegas?
People had the fight for Pac? I've never come across such a being outside of this website and the 2 or 3 stray Filipinos who will randomly post a hugging video on On facebook or IG. Honestly, elroy the one backlash I heard was of how did people think Pac stood a chance... I'm admittedly a bigger Pac fan than I am of Floyd buuut.... It was embarassing. Sorry, bro
Edit:
Forgot to answer the topic.
I think Floyd, while amazing would be the easier to beat by people in his division...or itd be better to say I can envision him losing with people in range of his div.. The division is better so I think Wlad would be harder to beat period because he's destroyed anyone before they can even consider themselves a contender. Wlad rules the HW division like a tyrant. Floyd has fighters that he can fight from 140 coming up to 154 who are great fighters and is at bigger risk in terms of volume. Hes much better than everyone but it's not out of the question
That's a loaded question!!!
You are suggesting that Floyd needs to be in Vegas to win, and obviously that isn't accurate by a long shot. Also, your statements suggest that Wlad needs to be at a certain arena in order to win, and again that is highly inaccurate.
Neither Floyd nor Wlad have needed a home-town edge against the opponents they have faced over the last ten years.
Firstly and more importantly, opponents have to find a way to match both Floyd's and Wlad's skill level, before you ever consider whether they can sway the judges enough to get the win. And thus far and looking back over ten years, neither have faced such an opponent.
Greens sent. Sensible post, a rare commodity on NSB.

In terms of getting decisions and having the proper rules enforced Wlad is harder to beat but as previously stated it's come against mostly subnational level weaklings so it evens out. The fulltime janitor Jennings nearly beat Wlad I had that awful snoozer 114-113 but one of the bonehead judges scored it 118-109.
Good topic here but Floyd is more difficult to defeat in Vegas, by far! Did you not see what happened on May 2nd? Floyd was out-landed, out-countered, wobbled a couple of times, and he still got the decision. He was rewarded for running and avoiding contact BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. If you take away his illegal holding, grabbing while your opponent is throwing punches, pushing to the face with open gloves, forearming, and pushing on the back of the neck, Manny would've possibly stopped him. Kenny Bayless was at his house having dinner4 months before the fight. Now, how is that legal? Isn't that a conflict of interest? Floyd isn't stupid. He fought like he KNEW nomatter what he did, he'd get rewarded for it. Smh. Who would run that much in a fight of that magnitude, unless they knew something we didn't? On top of all of this, Floyd only got a couple of months for beating Josie Harris. If that were me or you, or Mike Tyson, we would've gotten 3-5 years. HIs own 12 yr. old son called him a coward in court. Now, you tell me what the more difficult task is.
How GOD-FREE watched the fight

How is this guy allowed to post?

We all saw what happened May 2nd, his opponent was bestowed with the honor of taking the title, #48. You should try watching it, and affiliate yourself with scoring criteria whilst you're at it.
If we are talking about points, Wlad is more difficult to get the decision from. That's purely based on the fact some cards can be bought in Vegas against Mayweather, or in some cases fighters can have a chance of the win - let's say like the Canelo fight for example. Or ODH getting a nod on a card.
I think in general if someone really deserved the win v May in Vegas, they would get the decision, while Wlad might scrape a robbery. Saying that, he has never been in a position where he may be outpointed so moot point. Same with Floyd never really being clearly beaten. Wlad could be KO'd anywhere though potentially.
Floyd by a long shot..........

Klitschko has proved he is just as impervious in Germany as anywhere else, ie Moscow und NY.
Floyd will make anyone look stupid anywhere, you don't make guys like Oscar and Manny look stupid just because it was Vegas ! He made them look stupid because that's what he does, the venue has no baring whatsoever. Don't envy him because he made the mecca of boxing his home town. That's like the dream of every boxer who has ever competed professionally, Floyd just made it a reality. Haters gonna hate n all that.
Floyd could fight Manny 10 times in Macao, and he would school his ass again and again like he did in Vegas.
Wlad has already lost by TKO in Germany..
If its points, than Floyd, i don't recall anyone coming even close to beating Wlad on decision. Floyd always has Castillo looming over him.
Wlad has also fought in the U.K, Ukraine, Switzerland, Austria, US and Russia of all places to take Povetkin 0.
Beating Mayweather anywhere for anyone, especially Pacquiao. Since he was clearly outboxed and outclassed even if the fight was in Antarctica. When will Pac fans move on and get over it, you are #2 of this generation, period. No questions, no excuses, no controversy. Deal with it. The only true possible "gift" decision Floyd has maybe gotten his entire career was JLC 1. Period. ODLH fight was close, Maidana 1 was close...but Floyd still won them both. Pac/Floyd was not close lol. 116-112 is even being generous to Pac.
So let's not BS and act like Floyd gets decisions because he is in Vegas. That MD Canelo score was utter BS and Floyd beat him as clearly as he beat Pac. That wasn't in his favor? He gets decisions because he is the best fighter on the planet P4P. Now move on.
Wlad have more weakness, most notable his, chin
but wlad has big power in both hands unlike floyd. floyd usually has to win it by points and hes had a close call or two lately
Germans are nationalist and are quicker than anyone else to claim professional athletes as "Germans". Do you know anything about German society? I mean seriously have you even traveled abroad there for college?
It doesn't sound like you have. Modern Germany is one of the least nationalist places ever but the average American's only exposure to Germany is reruns of "Was Hitler an Alien?" on the history channel.
That and... The example of nationalism you gave (fans adopting foreign fighters) is not even what the word means.

If it was the year 1938.. I would agree.
Except it's the year 2015. So no. Just no!
Gotta go with Mayweather. He's consistently fought much higher calibre of opposition whereas Wlad has spent his career fighting mainly subnational level opponents since he was destroyed within 200 seconds by a 38 yr old shot neverwas retiree.
I would say about the same. They are both that dominant that we rarely see the competitive fight.
I can't remember the last time Wlad had a close victory. If he is not KOing opponents it is 10-2/9-3 type UD. He rarely looses any rounds.
Floyd had a few close-isn fights recently, but still nobody would argue he won those.
