Looking for opinions on which matchups are most sought after for the rest of this year.
While personally I think Froch/GGG would the most stacked possible matchup, there are several others I've heard about that are debatably better...
Well we know Cotto vs Canelo is going to happen and that is a big fight.
I voted for Froch vs GGG has a big chance of still happening, and I hope it does. That to me is a big fight
No he really doesn't. I'd say Fury's best win is KOing Steve Cunningham, who was robbed blind against Glazkov

Wilder's WBC title win over Stiverne was really the only win on his resume that I care about at all. Fury doesn't have any individual wins as big as that but has a few decent wins. I'd say it's pretty close.

Anyway back on topic, for me its Froch-GGG without question, then Khan-Brook, then Wlad-Fury.
Wilder has a better resume than Fury, whose best win was Chisora. But I agree Fury is just as deserving as pretty much anyone else at this point..

if he gets back on track, i'd like to see andre ward move up and fight kovalev at 175 lbs.
if ward's back to his old self, i think that's the most compelling fight in boxing.
i'd edge ward on points if he gets his old form back, but the fight will be close. kovalev can box, and has great, great power.
Oh and Wlad vs Fury isn't a great fight. Fury fooled you with his trash talk, lol...
That guy is packing China and was never ever dare to fight someone who is similar sized than him. Sadly he successfully trash talked himself into a Klitschko fight but he will fall now.

Why people say Brook vs Khan? I think there are more intriguing match ups in that stacked division. It's just because the silly nationalistic stuff?
Thurman/Bradley/Brook. Fight among those three guys are the fight to make in ww imo.
Khan/Brook would be a great fight while it lasted.
Strong case can be made for both guys to win.
In all the other fights mentioned I think there is a clear favourite for me.
Canelo vs Cotto.
It's got the best rivalry in the sport. Two of the largest fan bases, and it's got the most popular fighter from Mexico vs the most popular fighter from PR.
Not to mention they both will go for the KO of each other. No dancing, holding or running around. To me it has the potential to be FOY.
Cotto-Canelo.
I would prefer to see Khan-Brook, but to me that is a fight only one guy wins and Khan will keep avoiding it anyway. I don't think Khan has a hope of winning that fight, Brook will blast him out without much difficulty.
Cotto-Canelo is a better fight, bigger worldwide fight and I very much look forward to it.
Perhaps a follow up question is, who wins these fights?
I got...
Canelo > Cotto
Klitschko > Fury
Rigo > LSC
Brook > Khan
I really don't know who I have between Froch / GGG but I guess I'll stand by my boy GGG.
Loma > Walters (I should see more of Walters though I suppose)
FMJ over pretty much anyone I guess.
Wilder > Povetkin (not confident though)
Ward > Kovalev (another uncertainty)
Khan/Brook is good but Khan is afraid of that fight. GGG vs. Froch too, but Golovkin will not move up in weight. That leaves the one the could happen, Cotto-Canelo.
