This will look similar to Fonfara-chavez. A naturally bigger stronger man will have his way most of the fight. It will be a win by unanimous decision, not KO. Geale is also one of the more underrated boxers out there. Guys got insane cardio and footwork
I think had Cotto fought the fight and won at 160 it would be one of his career best. I agree with you Geale is very underrated, he is a really good fighter with a good record. GGG's power is just a game changer, but that doesn't mean that is going to happen with Cotto or any other middleweight. It is one of those fights where you have to wait to see whether Geale makes weight, and how he looks on the night before it is properly assessed.
Cotto should have taken the fight at 160 though, he would have got massive credit from a lot of people for winning at the proper middleweight limit, and now even if Geale is not drained or weak on the night and Cotto wins people will not give him credit.
I think people would be more understanding and give Cotto more leeway bringing GGG down to a catchweight because he is a killer, Geale is a good fighter and a solid champion but not a killer.
Geale is going to be drained to sh1t
Stop spreading BS Larry...or its the same drainage that Floyd did to Canelo? Or the way he cheated Marquez on the scales?
cotto is a clear level above geale. he would beat him at 160 lbs, never mind 157 lbs. i think the catchweight was just a statement of intention with regards to whether he'll face golovkin
Cotto's best days are long behind him but Geale still has nothing to offer Cotto. Geale's defense is not well suited toward guys with power. Footwork is unsteady (another problem againstCotto). And Cotto has too good a defence to be bothered by Geale. This one is cut and dry, IMO. Cotto by TKO mid/late rounds.

maybe you don't like Cotto but to compare him with Chavez jr? Besides being a level or two above Chavez, i think Cotto is more dedicated to the sport and has been in the ring with bigger guys. Not like Chavez who was the bigger man in the ring everytime
