Oscar is putting on muscle, he was lifting weights and his arms and shoulders are getting swole. I dont think he could fight again, he is probably like 180 right now.
If he were to comeback it would have to be at 160 and against triple G, I actually think if Oscar was in decent shape he would beat GGG.
an Oscar comeback fight would only do big numbers if its against GGG, anyone else no, it has to be against a big dog maybe Cotto if he beats Geale? that would be huge.
At this point man Oscar is out doing his thing doing big coke and having fun with his money....GGG would explode his liver, I don't want to see that. Wish he had taken better care of himself, he might still be out there..miss him though
A few years ago, Oscar has stated that he started training for a comeback vs Felix sturm rematch, but once he was in the gym, his body couldn't handle the training anymore...
I don't want to see Oscar comeback vs a legit fighter like Canelo, ggg, etc...
But if matched vs other old guys, Oscar could generate a lot of cash for gbp...
Oscar vs zab
Oscar vs castillo
Oscar vs shane 3
Oscar vs pauli
Oscar vs hatton
Oscar vs morales
Those fights would all be big events
Oscar vs shane 3 would sell the most.

Pacquiao beat any thoughts of a comeback out of Oscar. He is not a Hopkins type guy. Few are. Oscar is too far past prime to succeed in a comeback and he is smart enough to know that. He is a very rich successful business man with a good legacy and he is in the hall of fame. Why train and fight? That is hard and painful.
He's not Bernard Hopkins, but that doesn't mean he couldn't pull in money for both him and his promotional company by fighting again.
If it did happen, I could see him testing the waters against some feather-fisted opponent who's been pulled up a few weight classes....not what Sugar Ray Leondard did by coming back against Hector Camacho.

Nope. Tyson was in good shape for a while. Then he started getting that belly and now I guess he's losing the weight again.

may 16 Cinco DeMayo, Oscar Delahoya vs Canelo, Mexico City PPV, they will fill the stadium and Oscar and his company makes a boatload of money. But the amount of Cocaine in that city, that weekend, would be bad for Oscar...:nutkick:
I actually would be surprised if dlh did come back and fight on a ppv to give some of his less known golden boy fighters some more exposure. Wouldn't surprise me at all.
And Mexico City might be the best place for him. There is probably more cocaine in LA or Tijuana than in Mexico City.
Didn't watch the link, but if he is, my first thought is he would probably be doing it for his promotional company.
Was actually thinking about this possibility before hearing this "comeback" talk.
I was thinking the same thing.. great way to bring some big revenue into the company

The first scene of the new Mike Tyson movie starring jamie fox will explain why Tyson is not coming back. Remember who told ya :boxing:
You heard Jamie Foxx describe it, well done.
