If we take in to consideration all factors - Floyd's age, his alleged slow down, his father's admission that Khan would beat him, his trouble with Marcos Maidana (a man Khan beat when Maidana was in his prime).
Then, we also consider Khan's unmatched speed and higher focus on technical boxing, his unusual style, his new-found dedication to more consistent year-round training, the likelihood that he is now approaching his prime years as a fighter (both physically and mentally/technically) etc..
Would you say that Amir Khan could potentially be Floyd Mayweather's hardest fight ever or do you believe it's an "easy fight" like the majority of Floyd's opponents are?
At this point in Mayweather's career, anyone has a chance to beat him. No matter who Mayweather faces next he'll be fighting age, injuries and most important motivation. I'd give Khan a good chance if he can stick to the gameplan and use his jab.
Lol, noway. The style what gives Floyd problems is the rugged, vandal style like Maidana's. When the guy jut go forward and doesn't give a fuck. Khan isn't that style.
+ if Mayweather power was enough to keep off Guerrero, Pc, etc... it will be definitely enough to keep Khan out.
Khan is the boxer who is extremely overrated by many and extremely underrated by many and there's just a few people who can judge him correctly.
He is a solid top 10 ww but this "Khan can't lose by decision" is a bulshit. He is skillfull but he can lose by decision. Peterson almost beat him, on the scorecards he actually beat him but I mean in reality.
May would dominate him the same way as other fighters. Khan is superior to may in handspeed and maybe punching power, though the latter won't play a big role, so the only important thing Khan has against May is handspeed. In every other element of the sport May is better than him. More precise, better footwork, better defense(!), bigger experience, better ring IQ, better lateral movement and head movement, longer reach, better chin.
So in short: No way that Khan beats May.
Khan's speed, jab, accuracy, reach, height, footwork, ring IQ, skills, and range control, are going to give Mayweather a world of problems. And Mayweather doesn't even have the punching power to take advantage of Khan's glass kryptonite. Mayweather would need to beat Khan by outboxing him, something no one has done before. It would be Mayweather's most challenging fight, and that's what a lot of professional boxing experts have been saying for years.
Mayweather is only half an inch shorter than Khan
Khan is 5'8.5 and Floyd is 5'8
Mayweather also has longer arms with a 1 inch reach advantage
So really Khan has almost nothing over Floyd apart from combination handspeed, which wont land.
Floyd will beat him on the outside and on the inside
