There I said it.
It really doesn't take a human being with more than an IQ score of 25 to realise.
The man has lot every major fight he has been in - by major I mean megafight - with the exception of the beating he put on a disabled person last June. How Martinez was ever allowed to compete is well beyond me, and it was none other than the same New York State Athletic Commission that allowed Tony the Cyclops to blind his last seeing eye.
Let's look at the losses.
Schooled by Mayweather
Smashed to bits by Pac
Embarrassed, humiliated and forced to quit, kneel, bend the knee to Margarito
Whitewashed by Trout who would then go on to do the stanky leg against Canelo
Each of those losses were downright shocking; losing to an unknown Trout, becoming a national joke to the Mexicans, just real disappointing moments and you almost feel pity for the diva.
Onto Miguel's greatest wins that make up his ATG Puerto Rican resume.
Arguably lost to the Ghanian Diarrhea machine Clottey and then goes on to get decimated by Pac. You know Bob had a word with the judges when Don Trella scores it 116-111 in his favour.
Another close and debatable win against Mosley.
The Magic-Man himself Paulie who could not punch through a paper bag.
Resurrected zombie in Mayorga who begged Cotto to meet him in the corner and failed to do so.
Stopping Zab Judah coming of 2 UD losses.
Yuri Foreman would never be the same after blowing his knee, like a certain Martinez. Cotto must have a magical affect on his opponent's knees.
Delvin Rodriguez, Randall Bailey, DeMarcus Corley, Michael Jennings, Carlos Quintana have all gone on to become journeymen of the sport.
What other notable name is there on the list, well none other than Professor X Sergio Martinez, this man was fighting with shorts that looked like pants to hide the extensive knee braces he had on. Unable to sidestep a crawling baby, Sergio would later claim that he is having trouble walking in interviews.
Cotto is known as being a 4 weight champion. 2 of those title wins were for vacant belts against Kelson Pinto (shortly retired after losing) and Carlos Quintana (known for shocking P-Will before getting stopped in 1). Only titles he has had to beat the champion for were against Yuri and Sergio. This highlights that Miguel has been carefully managed throughout his career.
Cotto is now going to fight a knockout victim of a guy he then claims has beaten nobody :lol1:
When he gets the chance to fight a credible opponent, he cowards away like the little bish he is.
If its not crippled, Cotto dont want it and Cotto cant beat it.
Thats what ive been tryign to say for a a while
Cotto = Glorified Journeyman
Hey Nelo kids!
Sounds like you are all havin a great time in here!
Party on! :boxing:
Yep he basically hasn't had an untainted meaningful win in 7, 8 years but he's held up by his fanbase
People are complaining about the Geale fight but in reality, it would be one of his best wins ever
