PBC on NBC ratings from Saturday

Im saying about a year. But i can see thats way to much time cause you guys/girls are already saying it failing.....AFTER 2 MONTHS!!! 2 MONTHS!!!!!

Wish they would stick with one network and one time slot. Or even a lot of networks but at the same time. I forget they fight at like 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday.

was a good fight, but two guys that are pretty no named to the casual fan, also the daytime too. I hope they keep doing daytime fights though it is good for a change sometimes

I could care less about the ratings. It was a good fight. Hope more keep coming. I'm with you man. I know it sucks cause this needs good ratings in order to attract sponsors and stay on but I couldn't care less about the ratings. I'm enjoying good fights.

I don't care... Degale-dirrell was a top notch fight and delivered... If any casual watched it, they were more entertained than in the floyd-manny fight... PBC has to continue to make compelling matchups for it to survive I would say exciting more than compeling but I agree, it's all about the match-up. Haymon has had the fighters and the financial backing to blow the competition out of the water yet for some reason he prefers to put on average match-ups letting HBO seize the initiative.

Stop over paying guys and it will work.

I enjoyed watching the fight in the afternoon, sometimes I just want to get it out of the way so I can do the family thing later, I mean we have had like six weekends in a row. So its kind of nice to have them afternoon fights once in a while.

Well that's what happens when u have fights in the day time on the least watched of cables basic channels Yeah boxing has enough issues as it is with ratings, but a day slot is only ensure that the ratings are going to be poor

How could anyone expect big ratings for this one? Dirrell fell off the map years ago and has done little since, and nobody over here knew who Degale was. Cannot blame Degale, as he has never been showcased over here. Dirrell you can blame, because he no longer has a name. Fighters need to be active. Sit on your a$$ long enough and people will not care. plus people are forgetting they sold the rights to be viewed in england thats where the money was

You camt put 2 unknown black fighters on TV and expect people to trip over themselves to watch. Hardcore fans don't give a crap about dirrel, why should the average sports fan. I have no clue why Haymon is wasting $ amd tv dates on fights like that. But maybe it shows why he hasn't built any real stars in his entire career.

And has now secured the biggest TV deal the sport has ever seen to go along with an astounding roster of fighters. The schedule seems to be loaded with fights everywhere. The middle of the day on a three day weekend... That sounds like ratings would equal sh*t. The problem with Haymon is he should not book on these dates like a dumbas$.

Now people will go and **** all over the "rating" but forget that people generally come out of work ( the ones who watch boxing and work as well) in the afternoon Yea cause the majority of the US works on Saturdays. :rofl: Drop the lame excuse dude. It's the only thing you say.
