Seriously i don't get why people are clamouring to see him fight Golovkin or Canelo. The guy has done nothing for a long time...
He beat Sergio "Stephen Hawking" Martinez. Lost to Floyd (no shame there), Beat a D level fighter in Rodriquez. Not to mention losing to Austin Trout, it's strange, it's like that fight is some dirty secret that nobody talks about, like people have tried to erase it from boxing history. Nobody can talk about it, like it didn't happen. Like the time i banged my cousin.
Actually i like Cotto, but the truth is that he has done nothing of note for 3 or 4 years now. Right now, he's dining out on that Martinez win which was basically against a cripple.

Nasty ass motherfucker eewww
Do everyone a favor and just log off with shit like that.
Sooo...how was he? :smileysex
Waait let's back up a minute here and go to this story
Yeah, I'd like to hear more about this...how old were you two when this happened? "They" say incest is best...lol...all in the family.
Please, induldge us!
Mayorga felt like he broke his elbow when Cotto hit him with the hook.
He punched Mayorga so hard, they felt it throughout the entire peasant:sombrero: community. To this very day, they rage against the Taino god...They call for his death be he will never die... He mocks them, courts their disdain by calculated facial expressions and commentary. He trolls them with a sick mind, dropping nugget after nugget.. "Miguel Cotto will do what Miguel Cotto wants to do and they must wait in line until Miguel Cotto is ready to see them..." The man is brilliant. HE is the most interesting man alive.
Stay Salty my friends...
Cotto's left hook is the stuff of legends, he punched Martinez in the head and both of his knees gave out.
Mayorga felt like he broke his elbow when Cotto hit him with the hook.
Was this before or after we knew that Martinez's knee was being held together with elmers glue?
You knew that before the fight, what exactly changed other than a punch to the dome?
just to set the record straight, EVERYONE picked cotto in the lead-up to his fight against martinez right? like if i dig up a thread with a poll on here from before cotto vs martinez, it's gonna be like 100% votes for cotto, right?
Was this before or after we knew that Martinez's knee was being held together with elmers glue?
What were the other ones? Rodriguez? I personally wouldn't rank the Sergio fight. He performed very well against Margarito, but you have to take into account the possibility that Tony was shot by then.
I think his better performances came under the guidance of Pedro Diaz, which in my opinion reflects the fact that he has always needed to be a boxer and not a bruiser above 140. Under Freddie I fear he'll fall in love with his power again, and as at 147 that won't end well for him.
He did more boxing against Sergio than he did bullying, he outboxed the sh*t out of Sergio. Freddie is having him mix his offense/defense better where as before it was one or the other and you could tell.
Be that as it may and contrary to your statements implication, it wasn't cotto's only excellent performance.

Moretti is a good judge, Van Hoy is an awful judge.
Clottey won his fight against cotto and the Mosley fight should have been a draw.
Brush's score card for the Clottey/Cotto fight is the greatest judging of any fight IMO :lol1:
I scored round 1 10-9 for cotto because overall, clottey dominated round 1. Clottey won that fight.
Castillo beat Floyd using your logic. But he still has his 0, so he didn't. Cotto, got the win over Clottey, so he won.

You switched middle rounds around in favor of Clottey when you had originally gave them to Cotto because of your round 1 fuc up. don't don't play dumb. "Clottey clearly won", yea ok.
This is true. The losing effort against Floyd was his best performance since Mosley.
Be that as it may and contrary to your statements implication, it wasn't cotto's only excellent performance.
Clearly we are talking about Round 1
Feel free to post the round here, it was a feeling out round no domination of any of the sides until Cotto conected his power jab and KD happen. Very simple
Other than that the head but cost Cotto rounds but he came back and won a very close fight.
I'm used to Cotto haters and/or Puertorricans haters for that matter, so no worries. what I actually do is LMAO every time imagine the haters face with anger and envy when writing here.
Okay, my point was Cotto won regardless the round was irrelevant. It was a close fight I agree, I had it a draw but the knockdown made the difference.
If you had clottey winning that round but got dropped.... it would be a 9-8 round for cotto not 10-9
No, it's a 10 point must system. You have to score 10 points to a fighter unless of a points deduction due to a foul.
A fighter who has been knocked down and doesn't score a knock down in return will almost always lose the round 10-8. Knockdown trumps all.
If you really feel that a fighter who has been knocked down won the round then they can claim a point back to lose the round by one point rather than two (so they lose 10-9) if they absolutely dominate the round you can score it even 10-10 but this is still hard to justify if they've not equaled the knockdown.
You talk about that fight like Cotto lost.

You gus talk about that round like if it as one sided up until the KD

When Quillin Dropped Lee, Glenn Feldman scored that round 10-9 for Quillin. That was bad on his part because Quillin got enough shots in to win the round. Cotto did not do enough to win the first round against Clottey, but he won the round because of the KD, but Clottey overall did better in that round so I make it a 10-9 round for Cotto.
