Amir Khan has said there is "more than a 50 per cent chance" of him fighting multiple World champion Floyd Mayweather this year.
Khan, who faces Chris Algieri on 30 May, shares an advisor with Mayweather, Al Haymon.
The Bolton fighter says that his "youth, explosiveness, power, speed and movement" could give the man known as 'Money' a real test.

I may be wrong but I think everything points towards Khan being Mayweather's next opponent in September providing he puts in a good performance against Algieri.
Perfectly fine with whoever Mayweather faces next, although I wish it was Thurman. One thing we know is that this will produce excitement and Khan will give his best efforts...something Pacquiao couldn't even do
Every time he goes on about this, he loses.
Honestly, I wish the guy would just get on with his so-called career. Banking on such an endeavour constantly, only serves to reinforce the idea that he has no worth without being associated with either Floyd or Manny.
Fighting either (Floyd or Manny) will be his claim to fame. And he doesn't deserve credit for riding the backs of others while taking the easy route along the way.
Boxing "The Con-Artist way" :dead:
khan will never get to fight mayweather because of the september date, it's been the same story for years. one of many examples where his backwards religion holds humanity back.
Khan would dominate Mayweather and expose him as the offensively robotic, one-dimensional, flat-footed plodder he really is.
Unfortunately for him, he's never going to get there due to him being violently starched by Chris Algieri.

The September opponent will be Khan (vs Chris Algieri May 29), Kell Brook(c) (vs Frankie Gavin May 30), Keith Thurman (big winner from the first primetime NBC telecast, in front of 4 million homes), or Danny Garcia (victor in the second primetime NBC telecast, in front of 3.5 million homes).
If Khan struggles but Brook looks stellar, Brook gets the fight; if both struggle (but still win), Keith Thurman becomes the lead option and Khan/Brook chase him down behind British PPV money. If Khan and Brook, by some disaster, both lose, Showtime/NBC/CBS/ESPN/Spike/whatever other streams at their disposal will use the full weight of their marketing muscle to build Keith Thurman as the fighter that they need to see.
All he has to do is look OK in his next fight and I believe he will get the Mayweather fight. Mayweather is looking for a well paying easy win to go out on and Khan is perfect. Mayweather will probably get his first KO win since Ortiz.
Dude, please, just stop talking already. You have an uncaged lion staring you in the face and you are overlooking him for a pipe dream. You will never get a Floyd or Pac fight, ever....DEAL WITH IT!!!!
The Mayweather's have been saying it so this fight might happen. It would make more sense that it happens in the UK but Floyd wants to be the the first to fight in the new Vegas site
It's the logical fight IMO.
Mayweather will get a ton of money whoever is his last opponent in September however I do feel Khan makes more financial sense than Garcia and Thurman. I'd imagine Floyd would do a press tour in the UK too which would be good for UK based fans like myself. :D
