Adrien Broner was more gracious in defeat than Manny.

Say what you want about AB, but he wasnt a sore loser. He talked a whole bunch of stuff before the fight. I mean a WHOLE bunch. He got beat pretty good, but he fought to the end and gave credit where it was due. Imagine that. On the eighth-round intentional head butt by Maidana, who was penalized: I'm not here to make any excuses. I'm in a dangerous sport, and I fought to the end. Like I say, some fans hate me, some love me. But if you hate me, you gotta love me because I fought to the end. But you know, were not going to sit in sorrow. Were going to live tomorrow like we won the figh;I can still go on and say that I was a three-time world champion. I still am a three-time world champion in three different weight classes. On the mark of a champion being the ability to rebound from a loss: I'm not going to agree with that. You don't have to lose nothing to find out how good you are. So, all I can do is go back to the drawing board, and do what I do best, and that's to come back and train my ass off. I want to thank everybody who watched the fight or came to the fight, and I will be back. on the early affect of the second-round knockdn the early affect of the second-round knockdown: I'm okay. Things happen. Like I said, he fought a helluva a fight, and he was the better man tonight. But guess what? We can rematch at any time. I will fight him my next fight. I don't need a warm up fight. I will fight him in my next fight. Manny, the veteran and more importantly, the legend, can't even keep it real. Sigh.

It is bad taste, I agree. But that bad taste is him and his team angling for a very lucrative rematch. Yes, I cringe when I hear the crap he says. It's ugly, bad, and stupid and it's all about that future massive payday. I don't think it happens. And I hope it doesn't happen. Because it will be worse than the first one.

Hey man, don't think I agree with what Manny did either. In my eyes, they were both poor sportsmen. After you lose, it ain't easy to accept. I get that. Which is why AB walked off with no interview. Which is why Manny said he thought he won the fight right after. But once reality set in, AB was able to give his opponent the proper credit. Manny has gone on and on and on, with all these excuses and can't just man up and say hey, I lost. He was better, etc, etc. And considering who Manny is as a man or what he portrays, he's just really in bad taste.

Convinced they fools just like being dumb. There's really no other explanation. I mean, Broner was EMBARRASSED against MM. Almost got knocked out or stopped. But he got his tail up and fought the rest of the fight, right in the pocket and at least TRIED to compete. Then, AFTER the fight, gave credit and respect to MM. Manny lost 10 rounds and cries about a bum shoulder. But they can't see the difference. Nah, they can. But they dislike Broner so much, they won't even call a spade a spade. Broner stands in the pocket, is tough, has a good chin and likes to exchange. He's gracious in defeat and carries himself like a warrior. But because he likes to dance and joke around he will never get credit for his warrior spirit. Agree with you.

Manny was humbled just as much, but in a different way. Broner got beat up after talking a lot of ****. Manny got outclassed after shooting commercials and having his trainer talk as much **** as Broner. Both had their images completely taken from them. Broner, as a serious future star and Manny as potentially the best of Floyd's generation. AB handled it like a pro-something no one expected. Broner is a real warrior and carries himself like at all times. You gotta respect that. But I see most rather respect a guy that lost 10 rounds and landed less than 100 punches with a DESTROYED shoulder.
