Remember all the "Floyd's scared" and "look at the body language" threads leading into the fight -- basically projections to give people a chance to say "I saw something that I'm going to interpret as a sign that what I want to happen will happen"?
Well one thing to me sticks out.
After the weigh-in, each went back to get on his clothes then they came out for a staredown.
Here's how it happened: Floyd walked up, pointed to a spot and Manny complied.
Floyd dictated and Manny took his instruction.
And thanked Floyd.
It demonstrated who was the superior will, who had the mental upper hand. Manny could have walked out first. Or he could have stepped over the spot Floyd pointed at and gotten right in his face.
Instead, he sheepishly did exactly what he was told, when he was told.

Yeah.
Just like at the Miami Heat game. When Floyd went to visit Manny at his hotel, he told Manny that as long as Manny would take it easy on Floyd, he would get the payday that would help him get out of tax trouble.
You see how the nonsense works?
He still waited a long time to fight him.
Full credit to him for beating him, his way up there now. But it was his fault that the fight took so long to take place.
