I don't know why this is so hard to understand. You can't **** on a competitive fight between the 2 greatest fighters of our generation and compare it to a showcase tuneup fight. It's lame ass Lampley. I remember during Morales/Barrera 2 that Lampley and Merchant were whining because the two fighters were actually thinking and trying to make adjustments to one another instead of walking in face first eating punches. well this doesn't affect much in the grand scheme of things. it's cold comfort for lampley and his target audience for the time being, nothing more.

Canelo just finished fighting Lara, so Kirkland is not that bad of a pick, he's game. It's about styles, People want to see fighters who let their hands go. Entertain, this is boxing and that's why you wear gloves on your hands. Thats why People complain about Mayweather vs Pac. Neither was able to deliver entertainment. MAyweather's style brings down the fight to boredom, and you can't argue it, because he has a history of it, and is known for it, it's a fact.
