Broner V Porter happening at MGM Grand @ catch weight of 145lbs, rehydration clause of 155lbs. Porter gonna die making weight. Rehydration clause was demanded by Broner team.
Lol @ rehydration clause. Broner must feel the end is near and he's right. Porter gonna ragdoll him and maul him all night long with or without rehydration clause and cw-s.
Broner vs Porter is a good fight!!! The Hate for Adrien Broner is real! ! The kid can Scrap point blank!! Porter is a athletic fighter with power and decent speed!
Why is the hell is there a rehydration clause?! I'm a bit sh.tty about that
because team broner thought porter's team wouldnt accept the fight and they could use it as an excuse on not fighting shawn
look at the negotiations for this fight. broner didnt want it
Something tells that the catchweight and rehydration clause if true, will hurt Broner more than Porter. Although Porter is a big kid he doesn't gain weight in between fights like Broner does.
Broner is in shape/close to being in shape this time around. He hasn't ballooned up like Chavez Jr this time around. I saw a video of him working the heavy bag with Floyd before MayPac happened.

On the boxing voice ken porter said that Shawn is weigh 155 right now and 144 was gona be easy. And that broner better not put them hands on Shawn before the fight

Apparently the C in PBC stands for Catch-weights. Broner clowns on Khan for facing Algieri & then goes ahead with this catch-weight shyt...smh
im not sure which ones but i know a few do. u cant come in over 15% of your weigh in weight etc. u have to look it up but there are rules for it. maybe only applies to championship fights.
Not sure there is an upper limit of 15% like you say. But in this case the upper limit is being set at 6.8% only, 15% is so much room to rehydrate & come in feeling good for the fight. Haymon might look out for his fighters, but in this case Porter is getting screwed.
considering the two names this is a good matchup, but i still don't think it makes much sense. i thought Broner was campaigning at 140 now? isn't Shawn a BIG welterweight? plus these catchweight and rehydration clauses...wtf? even when Haymon puts two good fighters in together he finds a way to look stupid.
Which bodies? What's the limit for different weight classes? Guys like Chavez Jr, Maidana, Rios etc always end up rehydrating to up to 1-2 weight classes above the weight limit.

most of the sanctioning bodies have rehydration clauses now too

Watch your weight & what you eat to make the weight...once you make the weight you still gotta watch your weight + what you eat...that's stupid IMO. There shouldn't be any rehydration clauses at all, if fighters choose to rehydrate themselves up to 1-2 weight classes after making weight it's up to them. These guys kill themselves to make the weight, why drag on the misery till fight night?

I don't know why porter would agree to the catchweight alone but rehydration clause
Exactly my thoughts, he struggles to make 147 as it is & he agreed to the catch weight!?! People are gonna go crazy in the "Adrien Broner Meme's/Be Like" thread if he still manages to lose with the catch weight+rehydration clause.

Rehydration clauses shouldn't really be permitted. You risk guys coming into the fight unrecovered from cutting and getting scrambled. A lot of the deaths in boxing have been linked to inadequate rehydration.
not really the point is to keep fighters from losing a ridiculous amount of weight and coming in too heavy fight night it keeps them from fighting at weights they dont belong in honestly it should be there for every fight
