Not bad. That's just about what I was expecting.
Ramirez was fun to watch (think that was second or third time I've seen him and I like him every time) and am looking forward to his making his way up the ladder @ 168.
Props to Edwards for hanging in there. He's got Bradley sized nuts.
Stay with it Tru TV! :boxing:

Not good, but there was boxing on 3 different channels and a HW mma fight on Spike all at the same time. I ended up flipping back & forth between Rameri/Edwards and Mendez/Lopez.
TR should really cycle some of their big names on truTV in order to develop the show's brand. Verdejo & Valdez should be alternating on here and HBO. They could even have Lomochenko or Walters take a tune-up fight on here.
Yep...

Per @SportsTVRatings ESPN2 FNF averages 302k viewers, TruTV boxing creeps up to 288k.
I'm curious to see if the Gilberto Ramirez/Oscar Valdez card can get close to that 302k mark, or perhaps surpass it.

Top Rank has put on some good and entertaining fights on TruTV. It's still in the building stages but I like what they're doing.
Let's see what Ramirez does for them
The Taylor vs Orozco fight was a good scrap. I became a fan of Orozco, if he learns to move his head better, I can see him being a champ 1 day but beating Emmanuel Taylor is still along way away from elite. Benevidez vs Paez was ok, Benevidez showed nothing more than what we seen in the fight with Herrera, he will never be elite. I think Orozco beats Benevidez though, more throughly than Herrera thogh because of punching power, outputs about the same but the chin is in favor of Herrera.
Macau? So odd... then again... who'd he fight? Donair in July, Rumors of Viloria/Estrada two (if no, Viloria will be on there) then the local kids... Maybe Ik Yang for the vacant IBF 140 title.
Shiiii, put him in Stub hub
Looks like Viloria might not be on that Macau card anymore, per Dan Rafael....
"Gittelsohn said that Viloria will fight either on Top Rank's card in Macau, China, on July 18 or on its UniMas-televised card on July 25 in Oxnard, California. Gittelsohn said the July 25 card is more likely."

Not sure who he'd fight, but I think the plan was to get him an HBO-televised fight.
Even though the card is slotted for HBO2, it would still represent a step-up from the UniMas cards.
Jose Carlos Ramirez.
Drawing upwards of 10,000 to UniMas fights, which is pretty impressive drawing power.
I think I read the local Fresno paper say if he beat Frankel, the next fight would be on Top Rank's July fight card in Macau, but yeah, he'd be a good one to feature on these cards.

Top Rank has a Fresno Kid that's already drawing like 7k+ people in Fresno. They should put hiim on there

TruTV ratings pick up. Decent fights on.... well... the opening on was
Per @SportsTVRatings #Bellator does 594K viewers on Friday night; #Boxing on TruTV does 288K http://t.co/vlWFL9xnyJ— Jason Cruz (@dilletaunt) May 18, 2015
Good to see the ratings improve.
The next fight card, with Gilberto Ramirez and Oscar Valdez, should get the biggest audience yet for this series.
Solid first fight card.
Ponomarev-Zewski was a good match-up to start this series off with.
Looking forward to seeing some of these guys step up from the non-televised undercards and UniMas fights.
Hope we get a view of Julian Rodriguez on this week's fight card.
HAMMER HANDS!!!!! :boxing:
Tapia...that's the kid tried to go toe to toe with Kirkland a couple years ago, right?
He's got nuts, no doubt. I'll be glad to see him fight again.
I think Tapia is gonna go up to 160 for his next fight.
Man that was a great show, it deserved to have more views but things don't happen overnight. They just have to keep putting on great fights and people will start to notice.
