Save for his stans.
What are the boxing writers saying about this? I really don't follow them.
No one does but most boxing writers aren't buying. Casual Floyd haters in the media are trying but even they are getting drowned out. Let's hope it continues. Let's see how far Manny will embarrass himself and piss on his facade.
Please go watch round 6 again. He threw the hook plenty. No one is buying this garbage. Go have surgery and stay out of the ring for a year (if true). But he won't because it's crock.
Save for his stans.

Soooooooo.....
It's Pac and his team's fault for pushing through with the fight knowing that Pac is fighting less than 100% vs. the most technical boxer of his era.
Deal with it!
However, the fact remains that Floyd beat a crippled Pacman which warrants no bragging rights whatsoever. Only delusional fans would ignore this fact.
I really don't care about him running to the commission with an excuse to take drugs on the night of the fight. The sheet he filled in was pretty broad (an injury requiring you to seek a consultant ); he ticked no.
If the injury was worth note, he would not have ticked no.
He didn't mention it straight after the fight, before he could be coached. What he relied on was based on what they prepared him for; I thought I won and Mayweather ran.
They went in with the intention of crying robbery if the decision didn't swing in their favour. The fight was so one sided that cries for robbery fell on deaf ears so they switched to ''My shoulder." They're a dishonest pack of rats with no professional integrity. What their actions show is that they were never prepared to give Mayweather any credit.

Wouldn't be shocked to be honest.
He mentioned nothing about it in the ring interview after the fight. This is something they made up after that. What would be even worse if it was true and he milked all his fans for as much PPV money as possible.
It can't be made up, because they let NSAC know about it right before the fight. I think they said at 6:30 PM.
They should just keep their mouth shut and take the loss like a man. Everyone, fights through injuries.
Pathetic but i knew they would go to any extreme to save face. Embarassing night for pac.
Haha. They've got to ride this lie all the way now! Serves them right.
He stopped throwing that much throughout the fight.
have you seen martinez running towards cotto in their fight? so does that mean martinez' injury wasn't legit.
Even if the injury was indeed legit and it did affect his performance, they were stupid for letting the fight continue.

You can't stop a 400milliom dollar fight. No one can. The show must go on. That's the bitter truth.
... "You can't stop a 400 million dollar fight."
... OK, you can't... But, though, you should fight your heart out, right? But Pac didn't...
And this stage of his career....sugery could be the end of Manny....even though he didnt look May 2nd...he still can beat 85% of 140/147 fighters.....but look what happened to ya boi Sergio
Maybe he is getting a heart transplant.
(Ok that was harsh. ...)
... Not hursh at all -- Pac needed some heart in that fight, because he didn't show he has any...
the problem is manny is inconsistent. he said that he hurt his arm in the 3rd round. but look at him throw in the 4th?
LOL at zero shot when he is throwing that right like a mad man.

I have read many articles discussing this injury, his lack of making the board aware of it, not wanting to postpone, Floyd knew about it etc etc...and I can not help but feel like it doesn't matter. Not in terms of the fight, because as time goes by it seems that this actually is a legitimate injury that no doubt will have affected Manny's performance, but that's not my point. My point is in terms of a rematch and what it ultimately means in the fans lasting memory of this event it doesn't exactly make us all rally up in arms and express desire for a rematch does it? The majority of us saw a fight, a fight that floyd won and therefore we got our answer. The only people rallying are those that are only fans of Manny/haters of floyd.
Manny may have a legitimate injury that affected the fight - sure I can accept that as truth - but will it leave a lasting desire in us fans of boxing to want it again? I do not get the impression that it does. Personally, like I have said a few times now, I would happily watch theses guys fight again, but I do not feel as though their is any majority of fans that do, legit injury or not, you have to wonder why that is.....
so the injury was real huh.... then postpone the ****ing fight! trying to beat floyd is hard enough, but with only 1 arm is impossible.
i love you dude and youve done tons for the p.i. but you and especially your ****ty ****ing team ****ed up big time. but goodluck with that fantasy rematch and at your goal of beating mayweather :fing02: :banghead:
Pacquiao was obviously injured. But he should of postponed the fight. doesnt matter i dont want a rematch, i already know 2009/2010 manny would of beaten floyd.

Well if this is true, Pac's team is stupid for going through with the fight.
Yeah, cancelling the fight would cost a lot of money and would piss off a lot of people but him pulling out with a legit excuse if much more acceptable. Now he's in trouble with NSAC for basically lying about the injury before the fight.
No wonder why his punch output was so poor. Beating Floyd in the punch output department is one of the best shots he had in winning. Him going in the fight with this type of injury basically means he had zero shot.
As a pacquiao fan, this pisses me off more. Not with Floyd, but with Roach, Manny, and the rest of team Pac.
