Haye by light years, their really is no comparison. Wlad should have had an opponent who could give him a career definin win, instead Haye neglected to even have a go, leaving Wlad with just his usual opponents in the ring giving up once they have tasted the Steelhammer.
Manny gave it s real good go, he just didnt have the ability. He kind of equals and potentially surpasses Haye with the excuse making, that stuff is bad taste and career tarnishing, which is a great shame as Manny has had a stellar career unlike Haye.
Haye by miles but I see the comparison. Yes Pacquiao was past his best, I said it for 2 years, in fact I predicted the fight would happen in 2015 and I said this over 12 months ago. Why? Because Pacquiao was in the perfect position for a Floyd fight (watch how the Khan fight materialises if he looks terrible against CA). However, Pacquiao could still have thrown more punches, he could have been busier, he could have made Floyd work as hard as he had to in the 4 rounds he won for 3 more rounds. But he didn't not because he couldn't but because he didn't want to.
He took his pay check and went home. IT left a nasty taste in the mouth of many fans and non fans.
haye was worse....i think even more because he gave it the fifty before the fight,
like he was going to come forward and be all aggressive,
but he spent more time on his knees and then complained about his pinky toe lol :lol1: :lol1:
I didn't think Pac was that bad, to be honest. I think because he fought at a slower pace, it made it look a lot worse. I thought the fight was a lot closer than most people here. 115-113 Mayweather
Haye because Wlad when pressed does actually falter, Floyd when pressed harder normally only goes harder back. Manny was kind of content to loss the boxing contest at the end but I don't think he shamed himself in any way.
Plus Manny has a long and storied career beating Floyd was a bridge too far but where he got is impressive. David Haye did kind of need to beat Wlad for his career to mean something.
Haye was much much worse. Manny was in there with the most skilled fighter of all time. I saw Manny do a few things in there I have never seen anyone do with Floyd. And Floyd did much more to Manny that I haven't seen. I enjoyed the fight and have much respect for both fighters. I think Floyd was 100% keeping it real, when he said, he sees why Manny is where he is and why he's been able to beat people the way he has. It would seriously take a guy with Prime Roy Jones ability to beat Floyd. Someone who could actually out-speed, and out time May.
Pacquiao was worse. He's supposed to be an all time great and god was supposed to deliver Floyd into his hands. That is another level of arrogance altogether compared to just saying you're going to KO your opponent or something like Haye might say. He also had his workrate cut in half and taken completely off his game. Haye just fought how he fought most heavyweights...
Haye was just a good heavyweight who challenged the other Heavyweight champ and come up short, no problem there. Toe excuse was bad and he did hype himself but who doesn't?
Both guys were pedestrian but who was worse in your opinion?
Haye was still a prime fighter, and just decided not to take any risks, then blamed it on on his baby toe. He had no moments in the fight. No points where you could point to and say look! He tried! He did something!
Pacquiao was a badly fadded fighter who couldn't get off anymore. But still had moments. Pacquiao was atleast able to hurt Floyd 2 times, maybe more.
PAC, simply because it was the biggest fight in the sport, with the world watching, first he said he thought he won, then he or 'team PAC' make him look like a dickhead by claiming he was injured, in the post fight presser.
Even if he was injured, let mayweather have his night, tell people once the dust had settled.
