The times that Floyd didn't do it is because he couldn't do it without expose himself but if he had the chance, Floyd did just that. Kenny Bayless did nothing much. Just like I expected.
lol Bayless wasnt a factor at all in this fight, give up ADP, your god lost, now go jump on the GGG train.
Not really hard, he kept his distance everytime Manny jumped in he moved Manny couldn't hit him, his defense was too good. As a Pacquiao fan the better man won, I would of liked Manny to use more lateral movement who knows if it would of matter Floyd is very smart and good defensively.
he clinched early but he didnt do much clinching in the fight, he was right in front of pac for the majority of the fight n pac didnt know what to do.

every time pac got close he would tie him up or bend below the waist making it impossible to hit him. defense herpty derp!

When Pacquiao had him against the ropes Mayweather threw a left hook and moved to his left to get away. He was holding to get off the ropes early but he made the adjustment to check hook and move away later.
Adjust. He got cracked by the left in the 4th and didn't get caught in that fashion again. He was laying on the ropes too long and started check hooking and turning Manny. Guy is a genuine genius.
IMO Mayweather fought a nearly perfect fight. Jab, movement, overhand right counters, check hooks, controlled the pace, ring generalship, tied Pacman up when against the ropes, used his size and reach advantage very well, basically made Pacman frustrated and made him fight his fight.
I had the fight 9-3.
Here's me agreeing with Weltschmerz for once. Well said. In addition, I was surprised how Manny did not appear to me to have the quicker hands, nor the better footwork. I thought Maidana put up a far better fight.
His defense was brilliant as ever. His offense was average, and frankly he was only landing what punches he needed to to take rounds. It was his movement and defense that won this fight, because it allowed him to only land those punches he needed to take each round.
agree with this....floyd did what he had to do to win....its a crappy way to win...but u pac didnt do anything to change it.
Just stop, Manny cut the ring off on Floyd all throughout the fight. The only problem was that Floyd would clinch him as soon as he got into punching range.
Several times he had him cornered and refused to let his hands go. :bottle:

First half it was obvious Floyd was trying to clench alot. At least a half dozed headlocks on pac. Not as much clenching as a normal May fight but I think that was due to Pac getting out of there
So did Matthysse clinch alot against Provodnikov. He clinched more than Mayweather in that fight.
There wasn't a point in the fight where Floyd clinched a lot. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the sport but one or two clinches in a round happens in just about every fight. Half dozen holds is alot to you.
IMO it was an average performance and barely did enough each round to win.
PAC looked shot and like garbage.
What's the best things Floyd did.
Make Freddie go on a steady diet of BBQ Crow Soufflé for the rest of the year.
