...and now they're the ones that are killing it in USA.
Youve had guys like Ali, Foreman, Hagler, Tyson, substituted by guys like Mayweather and Ward.
The promoters might have something to do with the sports death, but ultimately the ones most responsible are the fighters.
Im missing Shane Mosley more and more now.

Floyd, Adrien Broner, and the like are the exceptions. "Black" and "swagger rat" are not the same thing. With a little consideration, you realize that black fighters far outnumber the swagger rats. Even Floyd has toned it down as of late. But for ever chain hanging, grill wearing, hip-hop wanna be, there are 10 fantasticlly decent black fighters.
As you mentioned, Shane Mosley never had a touch of swagger rat in him. Neither does Andre Ward to be honest. He seems like an appreciative, humble, God fearing man. He speaks gramatically correct English and is never flashy.
Timothy Bradley seems like one of the most decent guys in the sport right now. Hard worker, again, speaks great English, wears clothes that fit, pants around his waist, etc.
Shawn Porter, Devon Alexander, Terrence Crawford (though I fear his newfound success may change him), Bryant Jennings, we could go on and on.
It's just that people like the Mayweathers and Broner perpetuate a very damaging stereotype, but they're the exception. That whole "Cash Money Millionaire" attitude has been dying out over the last decade.
Boxing was popular before any of the guys you listed were born and will be popular after the latter two are dead. The desire to watch two guys punch each other is practically as universal as eating or breathing.
Floyd is boring as hell though, agree with that part.
