That was the punch of the night for floyd. he figured that out rather early and he took full advantage of manny's lunging. manny got hit hard with more than a few of them, his chin held pretty well. that was the same types of punches that put hatton's lights out.
Its hard to throw when Floyd's upper body movement makes him a hard target, Pac only tee'd off in the early rounds when he hurt Floyd and he just stood still next to the ropes in his high guard defense eating punches.
somebody that gets it, people think floyd would be there covering up everytime he had his back to the ropes, but he was even harder to hit when on the ropes, pacquiao's effective work came away from the ropes
and when floyd established his left hand it became even harder for pacquiao to get off, rushing in like a retard wasn't gonna help him, floyd was gonna turn him all night, he needed to pick his spots
Again, he was flat footed. He wasn't bouncing around like he used to and hasn't for the last few fights.
i thought he cut off the ring exceptionally well tonight, i mean for someone who doesn't clinch and isn't looking to fight inside, he really didn't follow floyd at all, or not much anyway if he did
Manny got too cautious. Too much thinking. not enough throwing

not all of them hit though, in fact on the contrary i was surprised Pac isn't all that touched up. Floyd's right is landing but it wasn't enough to have some damage
floyd barely landed at all, he had some good rounds but never landed anything big
when he started using his left hooks and jabs(around the 7th) he did have a moment where he threw about 3-4 of them in a row and they were scoring blows, nothing really clean or big though
Pacquiao has never been able to cut off the ring and he was facing one of the best counter punchers ever. But of course that had nothing to do with it.
Again, he was flat footed. He wasn't bouncing around like he used to and hasn't for the last few fights.
i dont think it was his fault. like i said before the fight, he had a hard hard time getting in scoring range. floyd took his best assets away from him, his speed and foot work. everytim he jumped in, he got popped. he couldnt hit floyd at high speed consistently because he was kept at long rang by floyds jab, timing and range. ppl are acting lke floyd doesnt do this to everyone. its time to stop with that crap. floyd makes these guys look like ****.
But he was just following him in straight lines. And more generally, he was flat footed, as he has been in his last few fights.
Manny of old was always bouncing all over the place, always on the balls of his feet going side to side.
His legs may have aged worse than Floyds.
It was enough to make Pacquiao stop and think before coming in and ultimately won Mayweather the fight.
Manny got too cautious. Too much thinking. not enough throwing
I could have caught Manny with punches tonight.
His movement was horrible. Nothing like circa 2009.

Yup, you could literally see Floyd setting it up and Manny just couldn't make any adjustments and kept walking into it.
However, I would say Floyd's right hand was the punch of the night like many of us predicted. Manny can't block a straight right to save his life.
