What is the difference? & I dont mean bias preferences as in one is shadier than the other because 2 of the 3 have their shady sides and we can argue til we are blue in the face what those reasons are. But does anyone have actual scientific fact(s) for what they test for? How much they test for? & for what any of them can test for, like what is undectectable through testing?
Don't believe the hype. Even NSAC uses a 4:1 ratio now! And they don't even test for everything unless it's through their random drug testing program. But random or not, even NSAC does 4:1 on samples. So don't believe these morons.
Also going to need a source on this. I remember back in March 2013, they had a meeting discussing the possibly of lowering it to 4:1, but I never heard any confirmation that they actually did it.
I have heard that the primary difference between USADA & VADA, is that USADA allows theraputic use exemptions via a doctor's prescription as long as it is disclosed, whereas VADA does not allow any illegal external substances under any circumstances whatsoever.
Does anyone know if this is a fact? If so, that is a huge gap between the two.
EDIT: Apparently, it is true
http://www.usada.org/substances/tue/tue-faqs/
VADA allows TUE also, but I'm guessing they must be more strict about what they allow

If anyone knows the specific differences or wants to take the time to figure them out, please elaborate
VADA has TUEs too.

The commission has been catching cheaters mostly TMT fighters. USADA has been useless, considering they claim to conduct multiple blood testing and all.
The commission's findings have been taken from post-fight URINE samples, which is actually useless if you consider that the point of the testing is to protect fighters. But then it's far better than what USADA has been doing, which is nothing but lie.
lol, who are the morons? where are you right now in your head? first you call me a liar(then duck my response) and now there are some morons spreading more lies
who lied, with what exactly?
When did I call you a liar? And where was your response to me particularly?
I told that guy the absolute truth, that they are all using 4:1, including NSAC. And yes, only the fools try to say otherwise.
The main difference though is USADA takes more samples, which drives up cost. VADA takes less samples, which drives down the cost.
Gonna need a source for that. Don't think that's true.

HGH and EPO is both tested for by every official anti-doping agency in the world that's associated with WADA.

No they have not. VADA does not, and has not, compared themselves with USADA in as far as what they test for. The only comparison they have ever went on record discussing, is the difference in cost. They pride themselves in being the cheaper alternative.
The guy who has been comparing the two is none other than Victor Conte.
Is synthetic testosterone now legal if the Ratio is under 4/1?
I'm pretty sure you're incorrect VADA has already addressed the differences in what they test for vs USADA.

The lab is a WADA-accredited lab, they don't need guidelines on what to test for. They already know what their job is for quite sometime now. Both USADA and VADA abide by the WADA program. Moreso USADA because WADA recognises them officially as an anti-doping organisation.

wow, this is interesting stuff considering (if I am correct) a mans test naturally shouldnt be higher than 1.4-1. If Vada and USADA are letting anything higher than that slide by than theyre useless.
What about HGH and EPO, does anyone know how/if they test for this stuff?
I think I am in the wrong business... lol

UCLA is given guide lines on what to test for. Therefore the process is important to verify that the testing is stringent.

Usada does not check for synthetic testosterone unless the levels are above 4-1... It used to be 6-1....
Vada checks each time they test.

There will never be any such thing done because neither VADA nor USADA test samples internally. They just take samples and send them off to the exact same lab (UCLA) which conducts the tests and send them back results. They test for way more substances than the Commission tests.

So UCLA does the testing? wow, why not cut out the middle man and have college labs do the test? Seems like VADA and USADA are making $ off their names alone.
Yes, the lab at UCLA conducts the test. It's very advanced and expensive testing. There's only 2 labs in the entire United States that can perform such tests. And UCLA is one of them.

Not true. Both VADA and USADA do CIR testing regardless of ratio. The main difference though is USADA takes more samples, which drives up cost. VADA takes less samples, which drives down the cost.
so nothing i said was false, yet you're claiming something was not true
??
or are you trying saying that "yes, USADA does in fact perform CIR on "every" sample"?
Interesting, thanks! Would be cool if Fox news did a special and investigated Labs like this to get in depth with their protocols and make sure theyre obiding.

VADA is supposedly alot cheaper and the main difference in testing is that VADA performs CIR(tests for synthetic testosterone) on every sample, no if's and or buts
USADA is supposedly very expensive and "usually" only perform the CIR testing on samples which are over the 4:1 T/E ratio
