Morning Gents
Sorry for starting a thread on this but time is not on my side. I am flying out to Vegas and staying at the Luxor.
I was planning on buying some Closed Circuit tickets there for the ballroom. I saw 2 options on ticketmaster for the Luxor, so was a little confused.
Has anyone watched a fight at the Luxor Ballroom before and is it decent?
Cheers
Thank you chap. Been trying ticketmaster for the last hour and no joy at all. Was really looking forward to watching this closed circuit somewhere. Never been to Vegas, so I am out of my depth on what my options are.
Never watched boxing there or been in the ballroom but I'd take it because I saw this earlier:
No non-MGM Vegas hotel/casinos are allowed to show the Floyd-Manny fight, including in their bars, restaurants or rooms.— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) April 23, 2015
that being said, I'm not sure which are the MGM hotels/casinos apart from the MGM itself.
I stayed at the Luxor and about 4-5 other hotels in Vegas and the Luxor was my favorite by some distance, that's where I'd stay if I was heading back.
The MGM has a lot of resorts on the strip and Luxor is one of them!
Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, The Signature, Mandalay Bay, Delano, Monte Carlo, Mirage, New York-New York, Luxor, Excalibur and Circus Circus
Have you ever watched Closed Circuit Boxing there before?
Just wondering where the best place to watch it is in Vegas? I have $200 put aside ready for a ticket.

I've stayed at the Luxor...Its not really nice compared to some of its neighboring hotels but that doesn't matter much.

I've stayed at the Luxor before and am also flying to Vegas on fight night (from Sydney Australia). I will probably just catch the fight at a bar on one of the MGM properties....certainly not worth paying $150 for the closed circuit when the undercard is plain lousy.
