Hopkins commentating on hbo?

Anyone but Andre Ward and George Foreman, both of them are awful. Foreman was awful but I haven't heard anything awful from Ward. I think he's one of the better analyst.

I didn't think either commentary team was good at the weekend, wrong mix.

He is way better than Ward. I mean way better. He seems natural at it like Roy is.

His quote about Provo's heart keeping him in the fight but his face probably won't...was quote of the night imo...he's still green but he's already better than Tarver...not quite Paulie or Roy but he's better than the others including Ward....Lennox Lewis was the worst ever though!!

So is Hopkins going to be the new commentator on hbo? He does a great job, better then Jones whos always trying to point out how great he is. disagree roy is way more insightful then hopkins as far as commentary! his insight during the mathysse vs prov fight was garbage!

He's alright. A bit dull compared to Roy but so far he hasn't pissed me off. I'm surprised he's been so succinct. He's the most long winded and self-indulgent cunt in boxing. They must've really trained him to tone it down.

It's not a permanent gig, HBO will rotate guys like Hopkins, Ward, etc. Thats cool at least he got himself in the rotation
