For some one who only run and pot shoot. I have had seen any of the punchers he's fought. Think to walk thru those punches to punish him. He's been in with bigger man and big punchers. However outside of maidana for the first half of the first fight. No one has attempted to bully, bombard or walk thru clouds punches. Why is this feather fisted fight, never bull rushed or walked down?
Because he's a master at evasion, and avoiding shots, with respectable power. Yeah, you might not be able to hurt me with one shot, but what if you're extremely agile, and every time I hit you, I'm missing, or just hitting gloves, and shoulders, while you're getting off clean shots on me the whole time?
It's frustrating, and you begin to "give up", and not know what to do at that point. You still try in spurts, but that's only because you have to.
So you agree that the punches hurt and take their toll. So ppl respect his phone nothing abilities snd not try to walk him down bc he's hurting them?
Ppl who think floyd has no power have no knowledge of boxing, if he had no power guys would just walk through him. Like in the canelo fight, everytime canelo got hit he backed up and was scared of getting hit again , floyd just fighting bigger dudes than him usually.
All I know if manny concede any space and fight going backwards it's over. He's going after him. Bet on it.
What I'm saying if guys thought they could absorb his punishment to punish him why doesn't happen more. Bc I have been in several fights. Once you get cracked that first time. You know if you can take that guys punch. So once I feel that that guy can hurt me. Im more than willing to let him hit me to hit him. Bc I'm banking on me being able to take more of his than he can take mine.

when has someone just rushed their opponents from the start of the bell and won the fight?
Um urango and Devon Alexander rings a bell. Most of Tyson fights foreman Ali I forget you started watching boxing when pac got big I forgive you.
Even Ortiz walked through most of Floyd's right hands. Yeah, he has good pop behind his punches, but it's not the fact that it's his punches that are so deadly (well, in a sense they are, since that's what's hitting you), it's the fact that he positions himself perfectly, so you're vulnerable, while he's not. It becomes a daunting task to throw missing shots, while he's hitting you with a crisp shot to the face, or a counter to the face.
If it came down to a rock em sock em type fight, Floyd wouldn't do that well, but boxing isn't rockem sockem robots.

NO one has attempted to bully him or walked through his punches? Do you know who Castillo is? Did you see the first 5 rounds of Hatton? Did you see the entirety of the DLH fight?
And it's not a theory, just get your head out his arse and watch his fights, you'll see he potshots, more so in the last 8 years or so.
I agree with some of what you said but DLH was tentative and at times very tentative. Mayweather buckled him, even hurt him to the body in the 11th round. Those other guys however made more of an attempt to walk through Mayweather's punches.
Castillo literally walked through everything Mayweather threw, at a time when May was a bit of a combination puncher too. Hatton was bullying May on the inside before the ref became his body guard but yes, May did obviously land the cleaner punches, but that wasn't your OT.
In terms of DLH, he ran out of gas in the second half of the fight and knew it was over, he just couldn't give more. Before that, he was pressuring May and none of Mays punches hurt and May hardly threw more than a 3 punch combo.
One he said his hand was broken. Who knows the second we seen what happened. Another thing why you guys always say this guy tired this guy did this the ref did that. When if you break down the fights. And watch how all the fighters react to floyds feints. They are tired of getting countered. They cover up and stop throwing not bc they tired out necessarily. But getting hit to the head and body crisply and oftenly take it out of you.
And Mayweather was never a combination puncher in the traditional sense, even when he was fighting at the lower weights. He put together punches more, but they were still in a singular fashion, where he'd hit you on the head, side step, hit you to the body, side step, hit you again, step back, another punch.
It wasn't like he stood his ground, then landed a 5 punch combo, and stepped out.

One Castillo made it competive but didn't bully him. Oscar through a bunch of wild useless ineffective punches. Hattie are you serious he was rushing in and constantly get best to the punch. Please stop trying to make up history.
