Do you see him doing the normal boxing come back years later?
Like Leonard did when he came back to fight Hagler and Camacho?
Or do you feel that this will be the end of his career.
So many haters wishing, praying, hoping Floyd ends up broke and broken like them. Stop hating the fact that Floyd is going to make over $100 million in 36 minutes and respect it. Floyd will have millions of dollars for the rest of his life. Once he retires from stepping in the ring to fight it's for good. I see him growing Mayweather Promotions by promoting all of Al Haymon fighters. Maybe he'll do commentary and possibly become a world famous trainer.
In a perfect world he rides off and lives a good life with his 100s of millions of dollars, and his kids live a rich life as well. But with the way he spends money he may fall into some financial troubles and make a comeback. I hope not.
I really think it's all for show. It's something he used to market his brand and himself. He'll taper down on spending once he retires, but I'm pretty sure he's set for life. He probably has a trust fund (like most business savy people do) set up worth $100 million at age 50.
I see him coming back, either because he's broke,in debt to the IRS or when out of sight, out of mind takes a hold, his love of being in the public eye along with his love of money, will trump staying undefeated.
I don't like Floyd, but if there's one thing you have to give him credit for, it's his business acumen and his ability to surround himself with people who have a great understanding of how capitalism works.
He'll be back, common sense tells you that he will, it's not so much whether he'll fall on hard times, it's the fact that a large chunk of money will forever be there for him to grab.

It's really hard to put a pin in Floyd on what to predict. He usually goes against the grain for what people expect of him. I don't know if that is from himself or from Haymon managing his career in superstardom. I'd say it would be pretty likely given the fact that there will be weak champions that will pick up a belt around 147 like there always have been. I could really see Floyd pulling a Calzaghe or Marciano and just never getting back in the ring. Preserving his career at its peak. It just comes down to whether if Floyd coming back would boost his legacy or just water it down. If he had like a 4 year lay off and was coming back, almost reinventing himself in a evolved welterweight division, I think that would be really interesting.
That would be crazy if he came back and took on the number 1 guy at the time and won, talk about a boost in legacy.
I feel that once he is 50-0, he will walk away, and continue to promote, and merge with Al Haymon.
this sounds like a good option, he can make money and still stay relevant in the sport.

Another thing, Floyd would be well into his 40's in a comeback.
Definitely would be no where near prime.
