WTF just happened tonight? How do you box circles around a slow, plodding brawler, then box on the inside in the mid rounds, then maul your opponent and wipe the ring with them in the championship rounds, and lose a decision? Someone please explain the science behind this to me.
Right... Had that been Maidana against Peterson, you would be the FIRST peasant to be like, "but Peterson ran doe... Not a warrior doe..."
Except that unlike Danny, Maidana can cut off the ring, and would bring the fight to Peterson.
What you call running I call ring generalship and boxing. Neither threw many punches but Peterson threw and landed more than Garcia nonetheless.

I hated Garcia going into the fight, trust me, but Peterson ran too much. He ran so much and did so little that I actually started warming up to becoming a Garcia supporter. Peterson did a whole lot of moving and showboating with no efficient substance behind it.
EDIT: In fact, I wanted Garcia to LOSE even if by robbery before going into the fight. I was rooting for Peterson hard but his performance, in my eyes, was disappointing.
Because even tho Garcia missed like a motha he actually landed, very few, but it was more than what Peterson landed, he also threw easy more and was the aggressor
Belive me I wanted Garcia to lose but Peterson was being a clown and was begging to get robbed with how he behaved early on
Please show me the punches Danny landed. Don't worry, i'll wait.
True but then how does that equate to Danny winning those rounds? If anything, it was Peterson who controlled the action of the first half and did as he pleased while Danny looked lost in there and swinging at air.

How did Peterson win the rounds? It sure wasn't by running.

Matthysse fans need a snickers
Cause they get a little angry when talking about Danny Garcia.
Everyone knows he is an unimpressive hype job, you can be his fan, but don't call it like it isn't.
What robbery? Garcia won first half of the fight and certainly did not lose every round of the last half. Garcia won and he had NO chest acne either.

Morales fans too. Salty.
If you placed 90% of them on a lie detector when they pretend to think that Peterson won, they would fail miserably. This is what they do to diminish ANY fighter they hate.
Literally has nothing to do with the robbery last night.

If you are in here crying foul, you need to give up boxing and start following another sport. Surprisingly, last night all judges turned in fair score cards!!! Now quit the crying and learn some real boxing!:bottle::bottle::bottle::bottle:
Part of the problem was that in the early rounds, especially the first, Peterson was making Garcia miss, but he wasn't making him pay.

You're right. Peterson didn't do sh*t in the first half of the fight. But neither did Danny. And then Lamont thoroughly dominated the 2nd half of the fight.
What do you mean Danny didn't either? Watch the fight again, he was being the "supposed" aggressor and even tho he looked amateurish he was throwing more and actually was the only one boxing
Peterson wasn't doing anything but dodging. It looked great but he wasn't throwing ****
He gave those rounds away. His fault
I think both of them are not on a pro level. Poor performance
Makes people get turned off to boxing when you see shot like this
Robberies use to be controversial
Now people don't care, because it's a joke of a sport
I hate boxing scoring as it is now because it doesn't make any sense. I still say half points are the way to go~
Knockdown should not automatically mean 10-8.
Rounds should not just be 10-9 if a guy edges them same as a round where a guy damn near gets beat to death.
Do casual fans see two rounds of those two types as a wash? They really shouldn't be a wash to me, but we are stuck with this broke ass system and nobody ever supports a change that could make scoring so much more understandable.
It is the 10 point must system why are we only using a couple of those points ever?
