I think Adrien Broner would beat Terrence Crawford

Broner has a decent chin(I mean he wasn't knocked out by Maidana) and he has the speed advantage and maybe a reach advantage(i'm not sure)... He has the physical attributes to beat Crawford... but like someone said, his inner clown would get the better of him... Crawford is one seriously dedicated fighter and would probably take it... It's all conjecture... this fight never gets made... Crawford is on HBO to stay... Broner is showtime/PBC.. so khan has a decent chin too?

Damn near impossible fight to make, but I think Crawford edges Broner out.

Terrence would be a pretty clear favorite IMO. He's just a better, more well rounded fighter. And by a clear margin. Could Broner knock him out? That would be his best shot. I don't really see a scenario in which Broner out-points Terrence Crawford.

but zab's not a hall of famer. not even close. Go look at who is in the boxing HOF, then reply back. If you win a belt in 3 divisions you've made it. Thousands of fighters never make contender status.

come on man who did he beat for those belts? you think beating rodriguez(who?), dimarco, and malignaggi is something amazing? rodriguez was a journeyman, dimarco was relevant for a couple months, and maliganggi is a terrible welterweight losing to porter and cano. no one thinks simply winning belts is impressive because anyone can win a belt nowadays. how many good wins does broner have and the answer is zero. maybe someday but he's struggling with C level fighters and losing to B level fighters like maidana and ponce so the future doesn't look good and that's why he's in massive cherry pick mode. If his handlers had any confidence in him they would have matched him with matthysse, garcia, or peterson but no it was molina, taylor, and other molina. Lets be honest about Maidan-Maidana was bigger and with his new trainer MUCH BETTER!! The Maidana loss looks significantly better after watching him go 24 rounds with Floyd. Taylor wasn't as bad as people argued. Molina didn't show up. As for all the other guys, they made the fights tough but they lost. Since when did we stop giving guys credit for winning a tough fight? Yes, Broner is not professional. But he still won those fights, even though he didn't dominate as expected. I just think his fans over rate him but those that do not like him seriously under rate him and his accomplishments.

Broner is very gifted. I think his career will be about equal to Zab's. A Great career that most boxers would love to achieve, HOF worthy, but not quite an ATG like Floyd and Pac are. but zab's not a hall of famer. not even close.

The same posters who act as its no big deal when Broner did it, use multiple belts in different weight classes as a measure of excellence for the guys they like. ok he's not terrible that was hyperbole but he's just mediocre and he's being marketed as a top fighter and he's clearly not. he shouldn't even be in the top 10 but hype gets you far in boxing. he beat taylor and molina and he's #4? algeiri easily beat taylor and wasn't in the top 10, soto beat molina and others and still isn't in the top 10. weak resume and weak performances=not very good. crawfart has a better resume, has dominated all his fights, and clearly has more wrinkles to his craft than flat footed broner. broner won't even fight anyone man why do you like him? Any idea who Broner is going to call out next, then fight a nobody anyway? Truth^^ Broner is a C+ fighter who fought hand picked guys he had size advantages over. His lack of craft commitment lead him to fight at his natural weight and since then he's looked horrible. The Maidana capsulated how bad he really was. They arguably could have stopped that fight early, he tried to fake a dq to get out of the fight, and only had a chance in the fight after he chino after the bell. I don't think we can have a serious discussion about Broner until he does something serious. Crawford has done all the things one needs to do to be an A level fighter; snagged a belt in another guys backyard, fought a game and name contender, and he's beating the top guys in his weight class without promotional company help. He's done it all dramatically. Crawford would duke it out with Broner and eventually snuff him

I think TC wins because he uses his feet better and he is a smarter boxer than Broner. Broner has decent legs, he just doesn't use them. Im not sure if his conditioning is the reason, laziness or overconfidence with regards to his power. Broner fights nothing like young Floyd.

Now let me start off by saying that I am a huge fan of both...but I will admit that I am a bigger fan of Broner... The core of why I feel most see TC winning is because he is currently over-rated and Broner is being underrated. Lets look at boths guys: Crawford burst onto the scene with this picture perfect performance against a big puncher... He controlled Prescott and even stood in front of him and beat him up at times.... on the surface quite an impressive feat for a first time on that stage but Crawford didn't do anything Kevin Mitchell couldn't do against Prescott. He gave great displays of boxing against Klimov, Beltran and Ricky Burns....that can't be argued but lets Look at the Gamboa fight. Early on Gamboa was controlling the fight quite easily, tagging Crawford and avoiding the return fire....But Gamboa is known for his mental lapses in fights and it came to light in round 5 when Crawford landed a hard checkhook. Gamboa as is his mentality decide to trade with Crawford while he was still hurt and was subsequently knocked out. I take nothing away from Crawford...he did what needed to be done...but I ask you, If they had been the same size...or perhaps even Gamboa had been the bigger guy, does it seem to you that Crawford would have had a chance at all? Now Broner.... I don't see why people have lost faith in him.....If Floyd had been Broners age when he fought Chino the first time(obviously taking into account that Floyd wasn't at 147-so P4P) I think he would have lost too... It took all Floyd's years of experience to deal with Maidana and that was after seeing what he did to Broner... Broner thought he was fighting the same guy Devon Alexander whooped but Maidana has really blossomed under Garcia... Broner had fell in love with his flash and his highlights yes and it was hampering him as a fighter...but to see him box disciplined against Molina for 12 was a really good sign that he's refocused. Broner is still the guy that whopped Demarco harder than Edwin Valero. Now to the actual fight.... Broner for me clearly has the athletic advantage...he hands are much quicker and he hits harder.. Crawford has More looks but Broner showed he's not one dimensional. Broner's chin is proven granite and Crawford was hurt by Gamboa. Broner has the better left jab(when he uses it) better straight right and better hook... Crawford's jab out of the Southpaw stance is probably better than Broner's left jab.... That's how I think Crawford would fight. Crawford would try keep Broner's feet moving and turning him..... but he would still have to engage and IMO when this happens Broner will rip him with counter shots. This is a Win/Win fight in my eyes and I hope we see it down the line...what do you think? In my honest opinion, I think TC is what he is hyped up to be. I think Broner was overrated going into the Maidana fight. The guy can throw but his feet are so flat it's like he made 140 by putting weights in his shoes. Gamboa only looked good against crawford because of A) foot movement (amazing compared to Broner) and B) Crawford timing him. As soon as Crawford got timing down he nailed him continually. And I'm saying this as a fan of Gamboa who believes he could have been an ATG with more regular fights and more discipline to protect his vulnerable (almost) khan-like chin. I really believe what makes crawford good at the higher level is his ability to time opponents. And it's not gonna be difficult to time a guy that barely moves his feet. Just my opinion but I reckon it would be a complete wipe-out by UD 118-110 crawford. Broner had power at a lower weight because his feet were (and still are) always planted, but even so I don't think he brought the same power up to 140.

Crawford switching to lefty and back will get Broner! He might not carry power to KO him but he would win a comfprtable UD. Broner's cement foot would be his worst enemy in this fight!
