I know Crawford hasnt made any big impressions @140 but do you see anyone in Jr. WW giving him any problems or is capable of beating him? Personally I dont because skills pay the bills and Crawford brings something very special to the sport and if anyone can make him a star its Bob Arum.
I believe he can make the weight, but may believe there is more money at 147. Respect your opinion, but Crawford is a tough out. There maybe promotor issues, but Crawford would wash Danny.
Danny moves to 147 to fight who? Thurman? Not going to happen. Brooks, maybe. He has a tough out with Peterson, if Lamont can use his skills.
I think Swift vs Chino would be great @147. Also swift vs Porter would be a close 2nd. & I agree, Garcia cannot look past Peterson who has a hell of a jab (Garcias kryptonite) but I dont see Peterson disciplined enough to fight that fight for 12rds.
I think TC would definitely be favored gainst Danny, right now.
Not too long ago, Danny looked kind of amateurish against a bloated, and way past his prime, Morales. TC would never ever look that amateurish during any point in his career. He's just the better pure boxer, and I think his beard is good enough, and his game planning would be smart enough to beat every 140 lb. fighter.
Im not a DSG fan but I seriously doubt TC is the reason Garcia is leaving for 2 reasons, he cant make the weight anymore & Garcia Knows he can never fight TC unless TC joins Haymon which Arum will block by any means necessary. But I do agree that no one beats TC @140 but itll be fun to see some big names try...

Nobody. Crawford is the reason Garcia is leaving that weight class. Great boxing IQ, great skills, versatile, and has a mean streak. Minus the speed, closest thing to Sugar Ray Leonard. No he isn't Sugar, but close with his boxing make up.

I was just talking about this with my brother. I don't think anyonwill beat Crawford at 140 . It's some tough fights for him at 140 but I don't think anyone beats him. I hear you guy's talking about Lucas giving problems, that's bull crap!! The only one on this list to give him major problems would be Garcia.
I agree with u until you said Garcia, idk why people act like Dannys some boxing guru.
Here's Crawford's last fight at 140. Safe uneventful UD.
TC took that fight on 2 weeks notice at a weight class above is own, so give the kid some credit.

I think Crawford wins every round in that fight. But Dulorme is probably stronger than anyone he has fought so far.
Yeah it's probably a lopsided win for crawford, and Dulorme probably isn't skilled enough to land, but if he does, it will be interesting to see how crawford handles it.. He could go all mike jones, mickey bey on us
Good point... It's really a test to see if he is a legitimate 140, especially his chin.. I think crawford has all the skills, but still not sure of that chin. And 140 is loaded with guys that will test it..

Matthysse would be serious trouble for him too. Terrence Crawford is one of the biggest boilers in boxing. He got hurt and stumbled by a tiny and badly beaten Gamboa.
I think he might be an exceptional boxer but he is unproven yet. Who's he beaten?
But you gotta remember, Gamboa has the speed and skills to land on TC. I have no doubts that the top JWWs could compete with him, but using Gamboa as an example has to be put in context.
If Crawford struggles with Dulorme his future at 140 isn't as bright as most people speculate.

Well, as huge as he was before 140 it should even things out a bit more now. Lets not act like Gamboa wasn't laying it in til he started just getting abused due to the sheer size diff. No one is as prolific as Gamboa in terms of explosiveness and raw skills at 140, but there are better fighters who just possess different strengths. As much as I like crawford and think he's a stud he's coming into a division full of wolves. I'm not even sure how he'd deal with Lamont, Algieri (I have to give Algieri a break for getting tooled by Pacquiao..it's pacquiao and Crawford isnt on that list but if he clears 140 holy s hit will he be a mega star imo), or Postol and Herrera. Provodnikov is interesting in terms of style but I think all things being equal that Crawford can edge it... but is Crawford going to seem as skilled vs guys like Prov when they're just as big and hit harder and aren't exactly slow? Crawford doesnt move like Algieri and I'm going to go out on a limb and say he isn't as tough as Bradley lol.
Once I see him in vs Dulorme I can better make a judgement vs Lucas and Danny whom I dont see anyone beating (Herrera for Danny aside...Postol and Algieri might be bad matchups for Danny as well but we have to give Danny his due and he's got massively underrated skills and who else can tank Danny's shots like Herrera? Lucas is the only one who took them fine and even he had a "kd").
If I had to bet on each fight I think Crawford beats Herrera...I get the suspicion that Crawford is gritty enough to beat Herrera. Algieri can feasibly win by decision and I only say that because I think Algieri can actually box Crawford and doesnt have an atg in Pac on his ass (I make this decision in ignorance obviously as we've yet to see crawford vs someone "good" but he's got quite the test t hat will answer questions). I can't pick between Postol and Crawford. danny and lucas hands down with lucas seeming to have a slightly more favourable matchup as he fights all night and Danny can fade...but I still pick them both. Crawford beats Peterson IF he can hurt Peterson (inb4 lolzlefthook is peterson's kryptonite).
I want to see Crawford and Broner. I cant tell who has the edge there at all in terms of style and I think that fight could separate them from the rest into that third spot.
Damn, 140 is stacked. hell, I even have a weird feeling about Dulorme vs Crawford
Herreras 1 of my favorite fighters & is why I didn't want to mention him but sadly until he adds some Pop to his punches all his fights will come to the same sad conclusion. Herrera does very well against counter punchers by slipping & feinting his way into a barrage of punches but that style requires some power to make the other fight hesitant to throw with him.
Yeah, I agree.. He is sorta like pauli malginali...
Taking nothing away from Herrera, if he fought Crawford he wouldn't find a guy sitting on the ropes and covering up like Benavidez did. Good luck even getting Crawford near a rope.
I'd pick TC over anyone in the division except maybe Matthysse. Not saying they'd be easy fights but Crawford can fight backward and forward, orthodox and southpaw, leading and countering. Who else in the division can you say that about?
I thought he showed signs of slippage in the benavidez fight.. Herrera has been in a lot of tough fights and I think he's starting to show the effects
